So now that Hughie made a massive statement and put Hammer to sleep in 5 rounds, what's next? Hunter, Joshua? Or should he aim higher and go for Hrgovic, Yoka or the Cuban Flash? Nash out.
I've not seen it yet it is good that he is developing that pop orherwise it is hard to really see him being able to get the win at world level
He's definitely not a big puncher, but he's fighting more aggressively now and when he lands multiple shots quickly, he hits hard enough, and with his durability, he has the chin to be able to stand in the pocket and mix it with anyone. He took some massive bombs off Povetkin when he faded during the second half of the fight and they bounced off him. I think I'd like to see him fight someone like Takam this year, and then the loser of Chisora vs Parker.
He needs 5-6 more fights before a possible challenge at the top. He is underrated by some though I feel. The Parker loss was debatable. People may say Hughie was running, but Parker was largely ineffective on the front foot. Faced Pulev with a terrible cut for 11 of the 12 rounds, and after 6 rounds vs Povetkin, I had him 4-2 up, but he had a shocking last 6 to be fair, but never looked like going down. Did well vs Wach, and stopped Hammer, the injury was B.S. Nash out.
He actually just turned 27 last month. Boxing pro since 18 I think. He does have a bit of pop. I remember him rocking Pulev, and Hammer pulled out after the round he was getting lit-up, before pulling out with 'injury'. Nash out.

I dunno he might as well get the biggest fight he can and see how he does?
He's decent enough and never looks unduly stressed in the ring but he just doesnt seem to have any real offence
Also has his man's strength kicked in yet? That was always the rhetoric. He must be nearly 30.

I'm sorry I ain't seeing that. He's too sloppy and easy to hit.
But wilder needs a warm up. Fury will make hi mself harder to hit. He knows one punch can drop him so will try be more elusive. He will make sure only wilder will drop. Will make it a family tradition dropping wilder
Dude Wilder would KILL Hughie. Be like Wilder Breaz
But fury went distance with Parker and pulev. Fury could lay his hands on wilder it would be good 12 rounds
Hughie Fury vs. Kubrat Pulev II is a fight I'd like to see. Hughie was gunshy in the first fight, but if he showed more aggression in the rematch, he could right that wrong.
Other fights I'd like to see him in could be Joe Joyce, or the winner of Dereck Chisora vs. Joseph Parker II.
Kuzmin perhaps? It's a marginal step up from Hammer. At least the Russian will attempt to win and land some power shots. Let's see how Fury fairs against a guy with some pop and who hasn't gone into full "opponent" mode.
I’d like to see him fight someone like Joyce, Dubois, Hrgovic, Ortiz etc..
I think next it’ll probably be someone like Takam, a decent name but old and losing whenever he fights anyone half decent now
That would actually sell pretty well. I think they should make it. AJ-Usyk are tied up. Fury will have to fight whyte so that ties whyte up.
Unless wilder wants to fight Ruiz, but if he wants a name he can get paid decent for, I think Hughie is a good fight. They can bill it as him trying to get revent on fury by stopping his brother and of course his brother can talk some chit back and it should sell well.
Id like it but not sure how confident hughie is in taking it. Wilder might not know who hughie is, but beating hughie would be good revenge for wilder and the only fury wilder would ever beat!
But hughi e v dubois, and hrgovic would be good also like post 22 and 23 said
He should fight that frank sanchez guy or wilder
Sanchez or Ortiz!
We need to see a Cuban against one of these Furys.
Hughie is obviously levels below his cousin, but he has picked up some similar moves over the years.
We'll never get to see a prime King Kong Ortiz against Tyson Fury, but this fight would at least give us a glimpse into how it might have looked.
Hughie v wilder, someone make it happen. Wilder needs to go rounds against someone who can't ko him

ok sorry Nash I have been a little jumpy lately now that my Hollywood star has faded, did you ever see my film Not without my daughter? Sally Fields out
I have not seen that one, Sally, but I have seen some of your other ones. Nash out.
yeah but you are the idiot for writing he was put to sleep he was standing up the whole time, hughie looked terrible, slow sloppy no power and I am a Hughie supporter.
I added that bit for a joke. Nash out.
when did he put chirstian hammer to sleep? Hammer quit because of an arm injury.
If you buy that fake injury you are an idiot. He got lit up in that last round. Bit of a coincidence that he got inured in the same round, don't you think? LMFAO. Nash out.
