This would be a mega match up. I genuinely dont know. Id go with Tyson to win 1st fight and for Lewis to win rematch. Dont ask me to pick winner of the 3rd fight.
What im getting at is on their day they could beat each other.
The overriding factor with Fury is that he fights different every time. Maybe Lewis would be too good for him but the notion that it would be 'easy' is just silly. The range of skills Fury has and his size make him a danger to anyone.
What exactly is Fury gonna do to Lewis and what body of work are people basing this on? A 7 punch per round stinkfest against a gun-shy Wlad, or 3 fights against a guy with literally 1 punch who’s been outboxed in many, many fights? Cos there’s nobody else anywhere near the top 10 on his resume.
Lewis had a ramrod jab, every punch in the book and was superb on the inside, strong with a mean uppercut. He’d batter the absolute shyte out of Fury.
In the words of the late, great Roger Mayweather: "you don't know **** about boxing!"
In the words of the great Nash out, Roger Mayweather was a journeyman, and would have been forgotten about if it was not for the great Floyd TBE Mayweather. Nash out.
Fury would win. It would be a great fight, but Lennox has weaknesses and a poor chin/slow recovery. And it it went all 12, Lewis ain't outpointing Fury. Prime Lewis got outpointed by Mercer. Stop overrating these old guys. Wilder also KO's Lewis 9/10 times. Nash out - The truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

I think lot of people, fans perhaps, tend to build Tyson Fury as this mythical boxer by connecting Tyson Furys from different moments of his career and exaggerating his good attributes to something he is not. What we know is that in this era he is better than Wilder (who is not a great puncher, color me wrong but puncher also needs technical knowledge, how to set up punches, and not only one setup for one good punch). So we have Wilder being this limited fighter and Fury batters him. Does it tell us how other fight would go? Not at all.
Fury never defeated boxer of Lewis' qualities. Lewis has his legacy written and is proven. There is still work to do for Fury and determine where active boxer stands in ranking (especially all-time) is hard even without fans exaggerating recent bouts and recent boxers.
In their respective best nights, Lewis. He was technically solid, a hard-hitting thinking heavyweight.
A fight for the ages for me would be Fury vs the Andrew Golota of the first Bowe fight, pre-disqualification. At one point, Golota had the world in his hands in that fight. Then his lack of brain emerged, alas.

They chinned him. Fury with his pillow fists wouldn't. Lewis takes him to pieces.
Lennox Lewis has beaten more big punchers than Tyson Fury, he may have fought the highest number of big punchers in the 90's.
And it was not just the power, those guys had variation 'Range on their attacks'.
Lewis. Quite frankly Lewis would have done a demolition job on both Wilder and Joshua comfortably. I think Fury would definitely have some success but Lennox would wear him down and he was strong on the inside.
Fury didn't need to move much against Wilder once he realized he could take his punches, but he also wasn't at his best last fight physically, it was rather clear. You'll see Fury stick and move when he fights Usyk, or any other fighter where it makes sense to force on the front foot at times. Fury took the fight to Wilder. Fury also has too much depth to his game, and ring IQ to ever be rendered one dimensional.
Fury would slip just about everything Lennox throws and break him down with body punches, and straights down the pipe.
Fury has not moved since Wilder I, and still a so called 'Not very technically gifted Wilder, decked him twice'.
Tyson Fury is not untouchable, I don't think he has a all-time great defense 'It was good under Peter Fury, but not supremely tested'
If Tyson Fury could not slip, Ottin Wallin or Deontay Wilder's attacks 'He has no chance of slipping Lennox Lewis'.
You watch the remainder of his career, if Fury ever fights Dillian Whyte he will be banged up in that fight as well 'Win or lose'.
Fury is not hard to hit anymore, and? Although he had a better defensive under Peter Fury, Kiltschko could of fought a better offensive fight.
Lennox Lewis is hitting Tyson Fury, no problem.
Fury is not stronger than Lennox Lewis, and does not hit as hard.

Remember that big uppercut that Lennox Lewis landed on Vitali?
That's what would happen to Fury if he tried leaning all over Lennox like he did to Wilder.
Lennox had a great set of skills, both for outside and inside fighting. He'll win, but he won't finish Fury due to that iron chin and amazing recovery rate.
Lewis UD 12
Fury wipes the ring with Lennox. It would be a late, violent stoppage. Too fast, too intelligent, too gifted, and untouchable.
Like Fury said about AJ years back: Lennox would have to through a handful of rice to hit Fury.
