Not really! LOL beyonce won two measly rounds against fury in the third fight! same amount he won in the first fight where wilder got outboxed and school for 99 percent of the fight. As we all know he got shut out and knocked out in the second fight. At best beyonce wilder's only won two rounds max in each of the three fights!
Similar to AJ in the first Ruiz fight i felt wilders balance was gone after the first KD behind the head. Errol Spence called it post fight when he said there was no point in Wilder continuing because there wasn't much he could do.
Much better bro,you didn't see those 2 body shots he threw shortly after the opening bell....the only 2 he threw the whole fight?!?!
Actually,is being able to take an ass beating for 11rds instead of 6 this time around considered an improvement? Apparently it is after all these posts I've been reading...
what was different.. Was Wilder much better?
Not really-
First half of fight was somewhat competitive--second half was a complete beatdown
Wilder did a little better but was KO'd--
Only round 4 was different after that it was the same as the 2nd. Wilder dead on his feet with a pillow fisted giant trying t finish him.
Couldn't agree more. Wilder had his mouth wide open and was gassed after the 4th round.
Some of it was Fury not being in as good of shape and some of it was his strategy. The first few rounds he was clearly feeling Wilder out. He wanted to see if he was bringing something g different.
After the two knockdown round and Fury recovered you could see him figuring out Wilders timing. The punch stats they had on the screen kept getting more lopsided in Fury’s favor.
In the second fight Fury knew what Wilder was doing from the jump. He just had to make sure he had the right strategy and he eventually closed the show.
Wilder was better and did some things a little differently and was more prepared for Fury walking him down. He won the first round off his body work and then got a KD as he froze Fury just momentarily with a body shot before whacking him with a right hand. He was not doing this in the second fight.
