can we talk about his recovery....he got knocked down twice and looked stunned a bit, but still conscious and got up and beat the ever living dog crap out of wilder
Decent chin lol? Most people go out the minute Wilder hits them
Fury took bombs from him for 20+ rounds
He has a good chin but amazing recovery/willpower
We'll definitely see some re-evaluation of how Wilder ranks historically as a puncher now. Maybe Fury has atg recovery. Or maybe Wilder can't obliterate someone who didn't just show up to fall over.
I've been convinced that his brain is wired differently compared to everyone else's since the first fight.
After those two knockdowns, the first in the 9th by a rabbit punch and the second in the 12th where he was knocked spark out for a few seconds, his equilibrium should have been completely screwed but he got up without even the slightest wobble. That is NOT normal lol
I'm pretty sure I remember seeing another boxer with the same thing in the 70s or 80s when I was a kid, unless I'm remembering things wrongly?
He's like Juan Manuel Marquez, can be put down but it's miraculous how quickly their heads clear. I think great cardio/stamina helps. Joe Calzaghe had abnormal recovery as well

Fury always has this fire and intensity in his eyes. His meanness and crazy mind gives him a huge edge on his competitors. That internal fire and viciousness will keep a man conscious and even if he gets stunned that type of mind will quickly regain it’s equilibrium and fight back stronger. This is probably my ego talking but I think I know something about that kind of brain/ mind.
