Nah. The saga was conclusive in the end.
Wilder took a lot of punishment in that 2nd and 3rd fight. It wouldn't be good for him to go through that again.
would you like to see a 4th fight?
Absolutely NOT!
There is zero point to it other than the excitement.
They were fun fights with the 3rd being the best.
That said, each time, Wilder took a worse and worse beating.
What do you do with a man that takes everything you got and knocks you out cold on top of outclassing your boxing skills?
The answer: Nothing. Fury is many a fighters kryptonite.
Bring on Fury v Usyk, the only one capable of beating him.
if both of these guys are still going 3 fights down the line somehow, then maybe
after undisputed stuff is sorted out obviously
much prefer to see wilder v joshua & others
wilder joshua is still a great fight
I can see the 4th fight happening down the line 'And yes I would want to see it, I was one of the few who never complained about the 3rd fight happening'.
I told people that it was also a underrated rivalry.
It has all the ingredients you would want in a rivalry, passion, brutality, raw competition 'None of this matey matey culture, that you see between some fighters' etc.
I wouldn't rule it out but not any time soon. I mean suppose Wilder comes back from these 2 defeats and scores 2 or 3 meaningful wins over fighters like Joyce, Dubois, Whyte, Usyk, Ruiz or Joshua. Maybe 2023 or 2024?
Wilder said he wants to have a kill under his belt. He deserves to continue getting his ass kicked, so yes, I wouldn't mind a 4th fight to see Wilder get destroyed once more.
I could totally see Wilder though landing a hail mary punch in a 4th fight then picking up his ball and never giving any rematch.
But if you were to ask who I'd like to see Wilder fight, I'd rather have Wilder fight Ruiz(don't like both guys, one of them will get knocked out so works for me), and I still want to see Wilder vs AJ
Id not mind it but not at the expense of them fighting others. Fury needs usyk and Josh now. Wilder needs rebuilding against chisora, joyce, hrgovic, parker, ruiz etc
No.
Boxing should not be held hostage between two fighters. Let them go their own ways and make other interesting fights. Both Fury and Wilder need to test themselves against others...Fury to see if he can win against a big guy who isn't limited in skills and Wilder to see if he can still beat a guy not as talented as Fury.
Certainly not. There are other fights out there we need to see. He has fought nobodies outside of Fury and lost all 3 fights of those fights. If he retires now his legacy will be one of holding the WBC belt hostage for several years and got schooled by the only top boxer he faced. He could face AJ next year and make a fortune that would still be an interesting fight.
No. We didn't even need to see last night's fight. Everyone who said Wilder was a fool to go after Fury again was proven right.
The worst thing for Wilder is that Fury doesn't even hit hard enough to take him out early. He just gives him the type of slow beatdown that will take years off his life.
fury is the paulie malignaggi of the division. why are people forgetting this? they are trying to twist this into wilder has heart and is tough when in reality he has no chin at all
