Had covid in the summer. Had a newborn daughter spending weeks in intensive care, with Tyson sleeping on the floor in the hospital. Fury, like in the first fight, was nowhere near 100%. And still managed to obliterate Wilder. Crazy...
For sure. Covid, and mental stress over his newborn and still whooped wilders ass and i am quite sure he carried him. A few times Fury had wilder out on his feet and instead od knocking him down, he would grab him and hold him up.
Wilder showed nothing new past round 1 and went back to his windmill days. His warrior heart merely kept him on his legs longer than he needed to be and he went out on his sword. Unfortunely took much more punishment than necessary.
Best thing for him here is to just retire.
I think he needs to lose some weight.
He looked too heavy and abit slow at times I thought.
Smothered his work too much.
What you think? 277 is too heavy surely?
Yeah way too heavy. He didn't look comfortable until round 5. The last fight he was in much better shape, looking like Joe Frazier, Foreman and Ali all in one. Bobbing up and down smothering him, big sweeping hooks to the body, piston jab
What I still don’t get is how fury can’t finish his man off, wilder was done after round 4, completely gassed, but fury couldn’t finish off his man. Does he purposely take his time or something
I’m not hating cause fury a beast
He's never been a quick finisher. The last two fights against Wilder he had a dead man in front of him and just stick with plan. Wear him down, hit from range, grab another and make him feel the weight up close and don't take risks.
He was out of condition tonight in my opinion. Nowhere near the best Fury. But still plenty enough to beat Wilder. He made a mistake in Round 4 and it nearly cost him, but I think Wilder was already exhausted.
Fury was out of the ring for 20 months. And it looked like he was walking into Wilder's shots because he was cocky enough to think he could just walk through them unaffected. He should have had Wilder finished in Round 3 or 4. Instead he ended up getting in trouble and then the fight dragged on. Hopefully this wakes him up so he's back to being his best for his next fight.

Yeah probably, Fury needs activity, he was out of the ring for too long.
Fury just came in to destroy him. He needs to get his head movement back.
He looked a bit rusty which is to be expected, but his iron will to win is always there.

And people were concerned about the stuffs he was saying in their verbal war lmao fury won the mental battle a long time ago and has seen this happened many times in his dreams. I just cant see wilder ever beating him after that second fight, even more so now.
Ill say this. Ive always enjoyed Tyson's fights and his antics. Ive questioned his dedication and motivation in many fights and even tonight I thought he should win but Wilder has a shot. When he went down in the 3rd or 4th round I thought well this is where we see. Wilder could have hit him with a truck and he would have got up. He is the best of this era hands down. I hope he can keep the mindset right to unify, I think Usyk and him will be a great fight but I think Fury wins it.
