Aside from them fighting of course who deserves the number 3 spot?
Joshua has better resume but lost twice now, Wilder has to but he lost to the number 1 ranked in the world?
According to some now there’s only 2 top heavyweights who are Fury and Usyk and A.J is eliminated from any top spot altogether . The forum is so desperate to eliminate Wilder and A.J just to take away from A.J when he’s clearly way ahead of Wilder .
arnt you supposed to be permabanned?
Wilder will NEVER fight AJ.
Joshua would clearly fight Wilder so that's a plus mark for him. Plus his CV of wins absolutely ****s all over the bum-killer's best win over an OAP Ortiz.
History is going to be a lot kinder to AJ than to Wilder who will go down as one of worst HW champs in modern history.
He's got 10 heavyweight title defences. They come with an asterisk but history will still treat that well.

People confusing how they rate a fighter with how they rank a fighter based on resume.
Joshua and Wilder are pretty clearly 3 and 4. It doesn't really matter much which order but, again, you can't possibly rank Wilder's wins ahead of Joshua's.
Personally I would rate Joyce ahead of Wilder, but I can't rank him above Wilder. Wilder lost to Fury but defended a heavyweight title for years prior to that. Joyce's resume isn't in that company, yet.
Ye h i rate and rank Josh higher than wilder. Josh cant risk his life fighting better fighters than wilder and not be ranked higher, otherwise what's the incentive for fighting everyone in the top ten??
I mean Joyce beats parker, now Joyce is some kind of monster who's second coming of f oreman, where Josh already beat parker?

Joshua's chin is so shaky that he doesn't even have the confidence to test it against a light hitting CW. Joshua and Wilder are 2nd tier, doesn't matter if you rank them 3rd or 4th, resume in this weak HW era is pretty meaningless. Only way to settle who is better, is for them to step in the ring, but I don't know if we'll ever see it.

I can always count on you to bring the truth
thank you
you said it better than me!
Wilder looked punch drunk in his last fight. Once Fury hurt him with a good shot in round 3, he looked dazed from that point on. Then, he had to endure even more punishment. We'll see how his chin looks against Helenius, but I don't think Wilder's chin can take much more punishment.
Huhh?? They both got beat the fuk in 7 rounds. What are u smoking AJ wouldn't lose like that.
Josh is better than wilder, better resume. Wilder might beat usyk and Josh might beat fury.
Okay. But Wilder hasn't KO'd him. Wilder has ZERO notable wins at all. That's ZERO. I don't know if I can take you seriously. Wilder is a good boxer. We need to see if he deserves to still stay at that four spot, gets to move up or move off the list.
I agree he doesn't have any notable wins. The draw is the most impressive thing on his record. Joshua does have a Klitschko win, but as previously stated I'm not sure he's the same guy anymore after getting KO'ed by Ruiz and saved by the bell against Usyk.
It will be fun to watch it all unfold nonetheless.
It counts as it was a draw because of the knockdown. A draw against the king of the division is better than anything on Joshua's record. No sense in us being hypothetical at this point anyway. We are less than a week away from the answer.
Usyk has not proven himself at HW so I cannot put him at #2 - he beat Joshua who has been a shell of himself since the first Ruiz loss and it's his only meaningful win at HW. He very well could be #2 but we won't know for quite some time with him being tied up with the rematch. Joshua has chin and stamina problems and at this point I think Wilder KO's him, unless Fury totally demolishes him again this weekend.

Shoulda, coulda, wouldas don't count. It's as if you said: I almost played college football (but you didn't). I almost married a super model (but you didn't). I almost won the lottery (but you didn't). How does that mean anything? It doesn't make the cut.
You have to have it like this:
Tyson Fury (Two-time World Champion 1st WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, IBO; 2nd WBC)
Oleksandr Usyk (world champion in two weight classes, the unified WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO Champion and Undisputed Champion at Cruiserweight)
Joshua (previous WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO
Wilder (previous WBC champion)
That is what it would look like. This is easy. It's a no-brainer.

Wilder was a millisecond away from knocking Fury out. Instead it was a draw. That's better than anything on Joshua's resume.
1. Fury
2. Usyk
3. Wilder
4. Joshua
The version of Fury that Wilder got an undeserved draw with was so far removed from peak position that its laughable and desperate Wilder fans try and claim that draw as a good result.
In terms of this discussion, if Wilder pulls of a victory in the weekend he moves to number 1 in the division, if he loses, then he's not had a win in such a long time and 2 back to back defeats that it's questionable if he remains in the top 5.
I have Wilder in the number 3 spot right now but I'll move AJ up to 3 if Wilder loses and may even drop Wilder below Whyte to number 5
It can't be determined on a forum folks. It has to be in the ring and it looks like that ship sailed a while ago.
Joshua has slightly better record but that means nothing, he's shown recently his record of beating old men counts for nothing when he steps into the ring with a fighter under 40 and gets rings ran round him

Fam fury threw like 300 punches against wlad and wilder 1. Even when he fought coming forward he wasn’t crazy busy. when he boxes he isn’t busy at all. This notion that fury and usyk fight anywhere near the same way bc they are both boxers isn’t accurate
You are right.....:boxing:
Don't particularly care who is ranked 3 or 4. There's no podium in professional boxing.
We've got two Champions facing the next two guys in their next fights. That's good stuff.
Again, if wilder won't fight Josh in future then of course Josh is better, bettervresume. But on condition wilder fights josh, then I'm happy to have wilder above josh.
But if Josh beats wilder then Josh is above wilder which is karma

Remind me, who beat Wlad again?
