Makes me laugh how much credit is this guy getting for going life and death with one of Lomachenko`s leftovers.
I don`t care about instagram and sh.it, this is boxing, this kid is just a young pretty attention whore, not a real fighter.
He should retire as a boxer before somebody hurts him really bad. he is born to be a model, not a fighter.

Dont know, maybe. I would have to see him fight more. Tank is also in the same boat but we will never know with him cause his OWNERS don’t want him fighting people who are legit threats.
Lomachenko and Linares couldn't stop Luke Campbell, Ryan Garcia emphatically ended him.
That's not a journeyman.
He's also been training with Eddy Reynoso for a while now so you know he has only gotten better.
I think Teo would smoke him,Davis would be 50/50 due to size difference,Haney is able to outpoint him,but Haney can't crack an egg either so it wouldn't matter as much as it should if he is able to overpower Haney
I respect your Opinion.
I am not sold on Garcia either, yet.
But don't forget that Oscar De La Hoya was seriously hurt by (drum roll) Giorgio Campanella when he already was a title holder. And he was just as popular - screaming chicks and all - as Garcia is, minus the social networks.
So let's give this kid a chance to see if he can become a man.
Fans: Undefeated records don’t matter. What matters is: can you get up and show guts and heart and win?
Also fans: He has 1 loss and got dropped in it. He’s a bum, needs to retire and pick another career field. That trash ass, fake ass boxer.
Boxing fans in a nutshell^
If fans weren’t convinced about how toxic boxing fans are, something is wrong.
Nobody is safe. If there was boxingscene/internet in the old ATG boxer days, the same day weigh in days, and all of us posting too, I am sure the same fans would be ragging on the top fighters of those times. Especially because minorities and immigrants ruled boxing back then.
You would see threads like:
“Jack Johnson has zero skills. He will be demolished eventually. Mark my words.
Or:
“Joe Louis got exposed!”
But now everyone wants to act like the fighters from now are inferior to the one’s in the past. Guaranteed all of those HOF’ers had a hating ass group of people talking crap about them no matter what. Now, just to sound knowledgable, everyone praises the 1900-1980s and dismiss current fighters.
Nobody is impressed by you (generally speaking) listing fighters in an ATG list when you haven’t even seen these top 25 ATG’s fighting.
Ryan doesn't really have many haters on NSB. He should stay busy if he can. With GBP's potential move to Triller, things don't look good. Maybe Canelo would snatch him away and get him fights on Showtime or Fox, as his promoter. I hope Ryan stays with Oscar a little longer.
I think Garcia, if he can keep his head on straight (not a pun!), is going to really shock a lot of people in this comment section. The kid is legit, and although he has some things to work on, he's really getting stronger. Combine that with his speed, and he's going to be putting a lot of guys to sleep. I bet you that his name will change from King Ry to "The Sandman" in the next few years.
Loma went more live and death with Campbell than Garcia did, IMO, but Ryan looked more vulnerable. Loma was more of in control. Campbell ain't really a measure of anything. Maybe he's a nice guy tho.
This is a troll comment. That's ridiculous.
People wasn't saying it when Lomachenko beat Luke Campbell was they? Nope they were acting as-if Luke Campbell was an ATG or some ****.
Can't have it both ways.
You's want to be bias and act like your favourite fighter beating a schmuck means something then don't moan when others go overboard when theirs beats the same schmuck in better fashion.

Who's knows what brought on his mental issues but I honestly doubt it was the the prospect of fighting Fortuna the boxer. Think it was the attention/ pressure he brought on himself beating Campbell in the fashion he did and having to follow that up but who freakin knows. What I do know is hes a very talented/gifted fighter that has a good shot at beating anyone around his division.
He can beat anyone with the talent he has but he does stick his chin out when he punches and has to continue to face solid opposition.
I've seen Ryan since he was in the amateurs and I'll go on record saying he's a Real fighter ( whatever that means ).
I think all this social media stuff clouds people's opinions of him.
Time will tell. But I have him beating Haney , Teofimo and 50/50 with Gervonta

Not a fan of Garcia at all, but this Jake cat is a total cunt from what I’ve gathered since being here. “JakeTheBoxer” are you up for some sparring? Let me know where, & let’s get some work in.
He's overhyped foresure. I don't see him being an Oscar De La Hoya type. He's a good fighter but not at that level. Teofimo Lopez is the guy they hyped Ryan Garcia up to be years back
He fights with his chin sticking straight in the air. And he doesn't move it off the center line at all. He's getting knocked out when he faces a legit fighter
Ryan went mental once they announced that he had to face Fortuna. Now we await until he fights again and it would be a tune up fight and a lot of more Instagram posts.

I wouldn't say journeyman but I don't see championship material either
I agree. The journeyman part is a wrong definition of Ryan. Journeymen are fighters who went through the grind many times and came short most times. These guys have multiple losses. Garcia is undefeated so far. Some journeymen fight better and are tougher than Ryan.
A classic example of a journeyman is Burton, with 16 losses at the time he fought Floyd. Floyd calls him his hardest fight. I usually start my journeyman count after 7 losses. The label is mainly negative tho.
Life and death with Campbell? Did not see that at all and he was starting to put it on Campbell before the KO.
We must have different definitions of going "life and death" with someone.
