Big pac fan here since day one, but he’s done, and if he fought spence, who would not have let up or boxed at a slow pace would’ve really hurt pacquiao. There must be a good for that fight to change last minute.

I for one am glad he was spared a possible beat down.
Hope Pac realizes there are less riskier fights at 140.
Tank, Ryan Garcia, and Teofimo are more suited for him.
Styles make fights. Not 100% sure Pac wouldn't have done better vs Spence as that is who he trained for 90% of his camp. Not saying Ugas is better then Spence, but when you train and game plan for a certain fighter and then it gets changed, it will 100% mess with your mind. And I'm not even a Pac fan, just stating facts.
Not disagreeing with anything you've said. However fights are not won on paper, they are won in the ring. All it takes is one shot to turn the fight in one persons favor. Don't know if the attributes of Ugas played a major part in Pac not being able to get inside, but would Spence have been just as successful as Ugas? Questions like those can't be answered. Spence of course is a top level fighter and he may have washed the floor with that version of Pac on that night. Just saying, there is a possibility that Spence's style could impact a different result then the Ugas fight.
Spence would've hurt the version of Manny that showed up last Saturday. Manny without his legs becomes a MUCH easier target. That's no knock on Ugas performance at all, he fought the right fight, but Manny's feet have always been a weapon for him to mask the vulnerabilities he's always had throughout his career. He's 42 years old and over 2 years inactive from the Sport. In hindsight his performance shouldn't be THAT surprising. It's just that Manny has always been put on a pedestal where we expect so much from him, even from his skeptics. Manny in a whole is done and I hope he doesn't continue on because I see it only getting worse for him.
Spence would had fought Pac and had to quit because that eye the pac-tards here would be running amok. If he wasn't 100% he should not have been in the ring especially with that type of injury that. His vision was compromised already and the huge risk of getting it more damaged.

Styles make fights and Spence is more aggressive, more active and more brutal. A Manny with no legs is a sitting duck for a guy like Spence. You guys are delusional. Spence is better than Ugas in every metric

Pacquiao would have won by TKO due to Spence’s retina.
If Spence has been healthy, he probably would have won a highly competitive split decision.
Ugas is a better boxer than Spence. He proved that against Porter.
Man, what's wrong with you

as a fan as well i never wanted him to fight spence. regardless of the rewards that awaits for him if he luckily pulls that one off. Taking on a top 1-2 Welterweight at 42 after a 25 month layoff is just too much a mountain to climb.
Pac would have landed more than 16% against spence, but spence would have hurt him way more than ugas did -- especially if he had that cramps.

Unfortunately, most Manny fans that post regularly don’t think like you. Three assume manny would’ve won.
most rational posters, even ones like me that don’t like Manny, didn’t want to see him beat any worse than he was.
If the Manny who came in that night against Ugas, Manny would've lost no doubt.
But with all those last minute fight changes, it creates what if questions.
