The excuses Manny has made throughout the years has been astonishing:
Weakened and dizzy from a blood test (1st Morales fight)
Had to wear winning gloves instead of cleto reyes (1st Morales fight)
His socks were too thin (LOL)
His legs were too tight
Marital problems with Jinkee
Bad shoulder (Cured by salt water)
"He run, if he stand still I can hit him"
"I thought I won the fight"
Last minute change of opponent
Etc....
How come Manny never got 1/10 the hate and ridicule Wilder got?
No he doesn't.
Nobody gave him flack for saying God would deliver Floyd unto him.
This recent leg cramps BS people waved off as age when he's used excuse for decades.
He doesn't get flack hardly at all.
There was at least one thread about his excuse from this past Saturday. And I've seen dozens and dozens of posts ripping him for his excuses in recent days.
The resume reason is trash. Heavyweights can't help who are other current Heavyweights. It's not like Wilder can move up another division. :pat:
He consistently fights guys that are 30, 40, 50 pounds bigger than him, which I don't think he gets enough credit for.
Excuses are excuses, whether they come from Pacman, Floyd, or anybody else. I don't give a damn about your resume.
wilders excuses are just so funny and all about 1 guy, fury & yeah fury is an annoying guy i would say to be up against in the talk dept. the guy never shuts up and can be quite funny at times, wilder has to shut him up in the ring next time or fury will forever live in his head
Guys. This isn’t complicated. Let’s keep it simple…Manny doesn’t twerk. He stays on code. ;)
You really are into man ass and purple slurping aren't you? You queer! :lol1:

Manny did catch flak for these excuses and still does, as he deserves. But he gets less hate because he's a more likeable guy and because those are the excuses for every loss he's had while Wilder's list is longer and all pertain to one fight. That, and because Wilder says things like his entrance costume was too heavy, which cmon now...I don't get Wilder at all
Like when he refused to pay Roach and then fired him after Horn got his hand raised?
Or when he called ****sexuals animals on TV?
That wasn't good to say. That's for sure. But I said similar things when I was younger. We all think that at some point until we mature. Not that bad in the scheme of things. He is a bit nutty with religion. But that's not even close to claiming that miracles resembling those from the Bible were happening all the time, like a wale in the Mississippi river that looks out for and protects Wilder. Come on man! LOL!
Manny claimed that swimming in salt water healed his shoulder. So
He said it made him feel better. And I'm sure it did. Like an epson salt bath.
Manny said he could have beaten Floyd if he would have stood still.
He probably could have. Hard to fight a guy on a bicycle. It's also hard to fight a guy that's humping your leg when he's not on his bicycle.
Manny blamed socks for the reason Morales beat him.
That was Marquez, actually.
Manny blamed leg cramps for two of his losses.
Probably true. I wouldn't say it out loud but it probably was. Sure was an issue with Ugas. No doubt. That's not even close to Wilders accusation of aggravated assault.
Manny wrote on an official form that he was uninjured going into the Floyd fight, then claimed his shoulder was hurt after he lost.
So
I never said Manny was a saint. He has some flaws. But his strengths more than make up for the flaws, with all his humanitarian work, his kindness to all his fans, etc. etc.
Manny claimed to the media that God would "deliver Floyd" unto him, that God would not side with evil. Then when Floyd showed Manny the truth, he had a nervous breakdown, and he still hasn't recovered from it, evident by the fact that he originally signed with PBC to fight Broner to try and entice Floyd back into the ring.
That's just trash talking. Come on man ...
You're too transparent, bro. Too transparent.
We both know that even though Manny is not a saint, not perfect, it's not even comparable to Wilders lunacy. Dude is unhinged. At the press conference didn't he just sit there, mute, with headphones on? That guy is shook so badly lol His delusions collided with realities fist and knocked him the f*&! out. Not a good look. That's what happened. And that's not attractive to fans.
Gloves excuse was totally legit , he wore Cleto Reyes second time and third time around and koed Morales , although Morales was washed up in the third and was 1-3 in last 4 fights , so you can count out that win .
And most of his excuses aren't too outlandish and seem plausible unlike Wilder who ventures directly into mentally ill territory .
And most importantly Pacman doesn't twerk.
Because Manny is a kind, generous and loving human being. He's a legend, setting records no one will break. Wilder is a douchebag. He also seems mentally unbalanced, exhibiting signs of lunacy with his claim that a wale saved him from drowning by lifting him out of the water with its tail. That alone is nuts. But he said this happened in the Mississippi River. :haha: He claims that his drink was poisoned, that there were weights in Fury's gloves, and that he has a dent in his head, which he discovered after an autopsy. :haha: The guy is completely out of his mind and is a sore loser. And oh ... he's a douchebag (worth saying twice), a moron and ... well, to many he's become an embarrassment to boxing. He thought he was God's chosen one, and then when Fury showed him that he wasn't in the ring, he had a nervous breakdown, and he still hasn't recovered from it.
So that's why people like Manny better than Wilder. You have to look at the whole package.
Any Pacman fans and haters know throughout his career Pac relying on his hand speed and great footwork to beat his opponents. This allowed him to set traps, angles and evade incoming punches while giving back his own. Obviously, his footwork no longer there. For what reason Pac already said it.
Pac was over trained. Pac trained hard for Spence. While you need to train hard, you need to relax a bit, most especially in the week before your fight. Firstly, it is recommended between seven to 10 days before your fight, you are to reduce your workout. If you don't, it will be very difficult for your body to heal up and recover.
Fck 11 days short notice and Pac need to start all over again the fight plan and sparring sessions specially made for Ugas. But what they can get in just 11 days other than Pac over trained himself. It is no surprising he suffered a leg cramp on round 2 onwards. This is a valid reason but for Floyd lovers. SMH
An important note no one has touched on is that the laundry list of Wilder's excuses is all from ONE fight. Whereas Pac's span across the mid to later part of his career.
Though of course Wilder only lost once. Has anyone in the history of the sport ever made so many excuses for losing one fight?
Well Pacquiao has a bigger fanbase, has a better reputation/career also. But yeah Manny gets a pass for doing and saying tons of BS.
But when you have an army of fanboys it's easy to downplay anything and attack anyone being objective towards your favorite fighter.
IF Wilder represented Africa or something it would be just as bad. ( Numbers backing up excuses)
Manny is a likable, humble dude who happens to be one the best boxers of our lifetime
Deontay is an unlikable, arrogant prick with delusions of grandeur.
Floyd fans give Pac enough hate to last a lifetime. But when Pac has been robbed in his fights He's been very gentlemanly and philosophical about it actually.
No comparison to wilder situation who won't accept loss and defamed your character with tampering gloves, people positioning his water
At the time of those excuses Pacman got destroyed (Not sure if you were on this forum or followed boxing at that time). Even though his excuses weren't as weird as Wilder's excuses.
