Both have Shawn Porter and Manny Pacquiao as common opponents, but I don't know how much you can take from those fights.
Shawn Porter says that Ugas is flat footed and can be out maneuvered with quick feet. On the flip side, he's a very strong and skilled at targeting the body.

I would lean towards Ugas but it depends on what Keith shows up. If we get the Keith from a few years ago and the Keith of the 2nd half of the Pacquiao fight, he could absolutely win. In fact that version of Keith beats most guys and would give Spence or Crawford hell IMO.
Yep have to agree. If the Keef of old shows up, one time wins this.
Right now I pick Ugas. Thurman is too inactive, he never fights anymore.
Depends how Ugas has got over what Spence did to him that was a hell of a beat down.
Id have to watch their fights closer but from what i seen thurman still has his reflexes and timing so he should be able to win a decision pretty easily
I like most of the top guys at 147 against this version of Thurman.
That would include Spence, Crawford, Ugas..
I think I also would pick Ennis and possibly Ortiz as well.
Keith Thurman beats Ugas. Ugas kept his guard up to block Manny's predictable flurries, and still got lumped up. Paquiao is old, and couldn't get out of the way, which is why I tried to tell you idiots errol was going to massacre this dude.
Keith is quicker, moves, and is just more of a dynamic fighter than Manny is at this point. Ugas is ugas, a good counter-puncher and not much more. I don't think Keef looks past him, and brings his full arsenal to the table this time. He beats Ugas by UD, based on activity alone. He definitely isn't "One Time" anymore, but he's a better fighter than Yordenis Ugas.
But, he did well in the 2nd half of the Pac-Man fight, plus UGAS doesn't press the gas so he will have time to get acclimated
True! Yet he was still dropped, hurt and lost to a 40 year old man when he was only 30 years old.
(Keith Thurman) With only two fights in four years man? Give me a freakin break! Thurman is a ruined fighter who will never be the same.

Would be an intriguing match. Keith has go quickness and lateral movements which would work good against a stationary target in Ugas.
Whereas, Ugas isn't afraid to mix it up and is deadly 2 the body (Keith Thurman) With only two fights in four years man? Give me a freakin break! Thurman is a ruined fighter who will never be the same.
Great Fight! I was hoping this fight would get made before they originally announced Ugas was going to fight Fabian Maidana
Thurman better get himself active though, Ugas beats him too coming off a 2 year layoff himself. Ugas has a very good jab and is relentless to the body which is something Thuman is very vulnerable to
