Was the pacquiao-ugas ppv worth it?

The PBC sold us on Pac's VS Spence. I ordered the PPV but I canceled the order when they changed the opponent to Ugas I canceled. I did not buy the torn or detached retina theory as the reports were not convincing. Pac's does not belong to PBC. He went with them to fight Spence. I don't believe the sincerity of their claim that all of a sudden Spence has a detached retina or a retina tear to me is unbelievable. Was Pac's set up? Was Ugas training to fight Pac's all along..............................And the bait a switch happened less than two weeks before fight time? I smell a rat.......................................PBC has been hemorrhaging money as of late...............................Just saying! I stand by my post!.:boxing:

Watched it at a Pacquiao filipino fight party. I dunno why Spaghetti with fried chicken is always served. the highlight of the night was the undercard KO. I knew the Ortiz/Guerrero fight would be a sleeper. Tough luck for Spence because this was supposed to be his coming out party. And we might have seen Manny get put to sleep. Ugas did everything right and hindsight being 20/20, it was a bad matchup for the smaller fighter. Pacquiao tried but his age showed. we waited all summer long and it was tough knowing it could well be Pacquiao’s last fight. I think Pac has one more last fight. I want it to be against one of the 135 pounders... He’s too small at WW. would love to see him fight at 140.

Being competitive doesn't make them PPV undercard worthy. You're supposed to get quality on PPV. Those are quality fights. may not be quality fighters but those were fights entertained which is the purpose of undercards. I would much rather have those undercards than snoozers.

Definitely, enjoyed it from the first fight on. Ortiz vs Guerrero towards the end got a little hard to watch but overall very entertaining card.
