$74.95 for DirecTV. Not that it's a big difference but curious to see where it's $79.99? Dish? I got it wrong. It was 74.99. Other than the ghost/Ortiz garbage ( which likely was set up to give the winner Manny’s retirement fight in the Philippines) I enjoyed the card. much better than I expected.

Being from the UK the idea of spending $70-100 on a fight is unthinkable. The other night it was freezing cold and I didn't bring any warm clothing; he mentioned it might be the last hot summer night today and might as well take advantage of it. (They do it every 2 weeks or so. I can always come over.) At first I told him I'll be watching the Pac fight; he didn't even know fight is today. So no. Me and me bros haven't been watching boxing together for a long time now. Not a big deal. Got it, enjoy!!!

that's why i said im buying it to watch pacquiao... 10-20 years from now, i wanna be able to look back and be like yeah i saw that fight live, etc... this is not just some regular average boxer, regardless if you like pacquiao or not or wanna admit to it or not but yall know pac is a legend and ATG. not trying to go overboard with all this legend stuff but i wanna be able to watch someone like manny live and look back on it one day... dont let hatred or dislike stop you from being able to witness something like this. and this goes for ALL the legends and ATGs, i'll buy anyone of those fights, im not just talking about pac... Old school Don King-style stacked PPV undercards are the gold standard. If you can't give me that then give me at least two big time fights. If you can't give me that and expect me to pay for essentially just the main event? Then lower the prices. Arum has said this a few times that people buying PPVs don't give a damn about the undercard and that is largely true. The undercard only matters for hardcore fans but those don't make up majority of the buys. My thing is if you have a crappy undercard, then have one where we get straight quick KOs. I’m in Canada, so I didn’t vote. There’s a few Filipino households that live close by on my street. I’ll be watching to see if they throw their Manny Pacqiaou parties tonight. I’m kind of hoping to see them congregate.
