i saw roach post this on his insta page... word on the street is that gaku didnt fight back and let his attackers fvvvced him up!! i dont know how true that is but why wouldnt you fight back and let yoself that that punishment for??? or did he fight back but just got overpowered? lol... regardless, it was a weird story of how it played out. I know a few Japanese judo guys, and they don’t get in street fights. They’ll walk away from street drama.

Exactly. I get him being a pro boxer so he’s hesitant on using his hands.. but the attacker put him in the hospital with over 100k debt.. At some point you gotta defend yourself
