How pathetic is that.. Close to a fight and Spence does this stunt.. No wonder he has no camp footages.. He's planning to runaway..
In my book that's a big fat L for Spence.
What's even worse Pac has been prepping up for a leftie and now has to change game plan and prepare for an orthodox fighter. They did Pac wrong here.
Not to mention even if Pac wins. He again loses some mileage/wear and tear to compete with this supposed prime lions in the future. Time is not on Pac's side.
By the time Pac fights Spence or Crawford. Pac will be ready to be served in a dish.
This is fuvked up. I'd say.. Pac should only fight Spence or Crawford forget about UGAS.
Or just retire now.
I understand your frustration, but ducking the cash cow is not the way it works. He has no Benefits dropping out this fight. Every fighter would love the chance to fight manny. Don’t believe me? Look at ugas face right now.
only way I see this being a conspiracy if Haymon done this on purpose to give Ugas a shot at title. I gotta say if this true, what a move lol.
Not when you know you are going to lose due to injuries..
Spence wasn't ready.. It was obvious in the leaked sparring footage. Injured or not.. Al Haymon or Spence team themselves decided it's better to take a hit than lose out bigtime and invest in long term.
That retina injury is a huge blow to Spence career. He will never be the same..
even without that retina injury.. that car crash took something out of Spence, thus, he is sidelined..
It is very probable
boogeyman becomes poozeyman lol
:rofl: that's funny. It actually sucks because I thought Spence was one of the few in WW with ballz. Well, I completely retract that statement. He's about as mental midget as Kief Thurmans.
Pac has never called off a fight due to an injury. In fact he fought Fraud Jr. with a shoulder injury. The level of diva in this country is ridiculous. Pac is old school and from a country where it's all about hard work and no excuses. Then you wonder why people from this country cheer for others from other countries...
Dude, signed a fight with Pacquiao. He's suppose to be healthy and ready for the biggest fight of his life buddy.
What happened?
He got his retina tore by his spar mate with a head gear on. That to me is not durable.
And to add insult to injury looked really bad sparring with a fast leftie.
That to me is not durable..
Don't use that car accident as an excuse. He's suppose to be healed when he signed for this fight.
I'm no sadist.. I don't want Spence to go blind. Hope he recovers if he really has that injury, but I'm just saying a durable fighter would find a way to stay healthy on the day of his biggest money fight.

Durable? Most people be 6ft under with what Spence has been through. I know it sucks but don’t make stupid threads bro.
Ignore above, I need to work on me IRL Karma

Yeah, greats have something extra that makes them special. You can't be great if you have no longevity in a sport. I remembered even during the early fights of Pacquiao when he was an offensive machine wearing those no fear trunks. When he wasn't a polished fighter yet.. Emmanuel Steward said that the way Pacquiao fights.. he didn't see Pac staying too long in the fight game.. and look where Pac is now.. Still fighting.. Granted he is polished fighter now, but competing in the highest level this long is a testament to how rare he is as a special fighter.
Yeah, he's very polished and I have nothing but respect for him. If you have seen any Pinoy TV, you will see that he is just so loved in the Philippines. He kits out schools with new furniture and just does so much. He's an all round fantastic bloke.
Lots of comparisons about Pac and May - but I look at the type of guy they are outside the ring which gives me the measure of the man. Pac blows May out of the water IMO.

I think the question kind of answers itself but is only really limited to those who are really good or considered 'great'. Its probably limited to boxers who have high win percentage over what, a 15 - 20 year pro career? Maybe multiple weight titles (natural HW's obviously excluded).
What I mean is, if a 42 year old fighter has consistently fought at the highest level, they must have something about them and their durability is a reflection of that. Pac has it in spades.
A late twenty-something fighter who retires because of injury, obviously doesn't have that.

When Floyd was given a delay in his jail sentence, Manny went from being “ ready to go” to suddenly needing stitches. Manny claimed a shoulder injury prior to the Floyd fight ( although the arm raised selfies during the ring walk suggest that was a lie). He later got surgery.
How exactly is this a durable fighter or makes him more durable than Spence?
Well the thing is Nevada loves Floyd.
He gets xylocaine which is banned in majority of the states, and he gets a TUE meaning he went in illegally with those IVs, and got absolved. Having all the power in Nevada makes him durable because of all that meds that saved his ass.
Regarding your narrative.. I'll let the other boxing fans to answer that. I've told that torn rotator cuff issue countless times already..
Carry on.

he didnt pull out 11 days from the biggest fight of his career.... suk it eazy pal.
That equates to not being durable? Geez you Manny c0ck slurpers have a really warped mentality.

Whoever leaked the sparring did the boxing world a favor they let be known the exact reason the fight is being called off far as I'm concerned
Yeah, that legitimizes that video had cred. It show how poorly Spence is doing in his camp.
Injury or not. He wasn't ready for Pac.
Hard to say if spence wasn't ballooning to 200 pounds every off season maybe he would be sharp...spence stating 147 is affecting his sharpness and this his last fight at 47 due to the weight cut was negative talk a whole month ago, the boy never was confident and was looking for a excuse way before this eye shyt
Yeah, that could also be a legit reason. He wanted to move up in weight.
Maybe this time.. He's grown bigger and can't make weight for the fight or if he did, he will be a lesser man in the ring fighting Pac that's why he opt to not continue.. Could be..
