I was looking forward to the fight. But more important than any fight is the health of the fighters. Hopefully Spence can and will recover but something is telling me he's going to retire soon. A torn retina is one of the worse injuries a fighter could have and if he fights with a torn retina he could potentially lose his eyesight. Btw, I think Pacman beat Ugas, maybe even stops him but I guess I got to do some more homework on Ugas to get a real perspective.
He should retire. I sure don’t want to see him in a Pacquiao fight again.
His doctor is saying if all goes well he’ll be back in full training in 4 weeks.
Its unreal how bad of year it has been for the sport. But, lets be happy that we got/are getting Wilder v Fury 3, Taylor v Ramirez, Charlo v Castano, and the upcoming Tank and Ryan Garcia fights in October.
Unfortunate news bro: We wont be getting Wilder vs Fury 3 either. Fury is busy eating and partying, having covid while chilling at the casino and all that. The man is scared. Even my grandmother knows something was fishy in the Fury Wilder fight.
Yeah a torn retina is not something to play with. This is why you take the biggest money fight available to you, instead of playing the other side of the streets stuff. Speedy recovery anyways.
You would think they'd have found it in the pre fich check for Garcia tho. Hopefully he gets it corrected and can carry on his career.
Yeah exactly. How the fuck did they not find it?
Man Spence was my favorite besides Pac.
No guarantee that he can come back from it. From what I've seen, RD surgery has a 90% success rate meaning they are able to reattach. For those 10%, additional surgery is required.
The list of fighters that have had to retire from detachment is long. Vision may be impaired even after reattachment.
Spencer is coming back bro. Its a sham.
For sure, people just don't see it. Faking an injury makes the most sense for Spence, Haymon, Fox and the current generation of welterweights. This people automatically believe any excuse they were given...
I was thinking this also. That car accident had to have some lingering effects.
Its a miracle he survived that crash.

damn shame..wonder is it the same eye that was red after the wreck
