Bob Arum has the history of making cross promotion fights that matter. PBC doesn’t. But the entire list wasn’t even top rank fighters. De La Hoya can’t stay in house with Ryan Garcia because he doesn’t have enough fighters. To imply De La Hoya won’t work with another promoter is insane. He has too all the time. Lou DiBella can’t stay in house with Commey. He doesn’t have enough fighters. Commey has fought PBC and Top Rank fighters in recent years. He’s clearly willing to fight people under any promotional banner. To imply DiBella won’t work with other promoters is insane. He has to all the time. Eddie Hearn can’t stay in house with Devin Haney. He doesn’t have enough fighters at his weight class. So let’s not excuse Gervonta Davis for not fighting anyone. There’s three options on that list that are probably very open to fighting Davis. He was a free agent to be and had an option to sign with pbc. He chose otherwise. Now that he is a feee agent to be again, he needs to sign with pbc or stop complaining in public about Bob’s inability to get him quality ww opposition. Tank had never been a free agent. Please note that I recommended Haney, who is a LW and has free agency coming, should sign with TR so he can get the best fights at 135 and 140. 2. Tank is the top guy at 130, not 135. He is the top draw at that weight. He is also a bigger draw than the guys at 135. Crawford is not. ( side note-Bob is not matching his top guys at 130 against each other yet. He is making interim fights and building toward a 130 lb title unification as you’re aware.) When have I ever asked the top draw to leave his promoter to sign with a rival? You simply need to stop trying to absolve Crawford of blame for his decision to resign with TR knowing what it meant. Also, you need to stop pretending other promoters have the same background context as PBC and TR. pbc isn’t going to help increase the profile of a TR boxer, especially given the decision Crawford made.

Great fight for Tank. Tank moves up again to avoid more difficult opponents like Shakur, Teofimo, Loma, and Taylor and fights an inactive and shopworn Thurman. Tank is great to the body and Thurman cant handle body work evidenced by Manny, Josesito Lopez, and Luis Collazo. Combine that with fact that Thurman hasnt hurt someone in quite a long time. Tank wins via stoppage, honestly Although I don't necessarily agree with your prediction, a Thurman match-up is in line with the way that Davis has been moved along. Team Davis is desperate to make him a PPV attraction, and a inactive Thurman is the perfect calculated risk to catapult him.
