Also, does anyone know the odds for this fight? If Casimero is the betting favorite it could be a good chance to make some money. At the very least this fight will go distance unless Rigo ends KO's Casimero (because the reverse seems unlikely).
But back to the title of the thread, who is the best fighter Casimero has faced. We know Rigo has faced some top level competition. Rigo has proved he has a pretty solid chin as well. Even though Loma fight was a big nothing burger of a fight, Rigo didn't actually suffer much damage from a much bigger man.
Does Casimero have the ability to actually hunt down and finish Rigo if Rigo decides to box all night? From what I have seen of his fights, I don't see anything that should particularly problematic for Rigo. Rigo has some serious power in his hands for a guy his size as well.
Probably a 50-50. Rigo messed up his career when he didn't capitalize in his one and only really good career win in 2013. The less said of his spineless cash-grab vs Loma, the better. Nash out.
He couldn't capitalize because, all the names around his weight, ran from him. That was a shame, frampton, quigg, mares and st+.
Yes, when you have that kind of power and speed you are always in the fight. Its rare in those weight classes to have the type of power Casimero has.
Casimero is the only fighter in that weight class that can match Inoue's firepower.
I think Rigondeaux hits harder than casimero.

I don’t think triangle type theories or analysis are the best way to judge who will win a fight. Styles make fights, not names on your resume.

- -Rigo has some serious Rigomortis to him that keeps fans away. Busted flush of a career...
Just watched it... Was too short to really show me much.... Obviously Casimero has power... But does he have more power than Donaire? Rigo took some flush shots from Donaire and kept on boxing beautifully?
Also that guy Tete doesn't have anywhere near the footwork, speed or counter punching ability of Rigo... Rigo's overhand left is deadly.
Rigondeaux is not the same guy that he was in 2013.

It just doesn't seem that Casimero has faced the same caliber of competition of Rigo. He's got power but will he be in a position to use it. I HIGHLY doubt Rigo is going to fight phonebooth style like he did in his last fight.... If Casimero can not GET to Rigo, we could potentially see another "boring" masterclass from Rigo.
Let me ask a different question:
Is Spence a bigger test for Manny or is Casimero a bigger test for Rigo? Both Manny and Rigo are past 40 fighting two strong young punchers.
Tete and yes, he does. Rigondeaux is not in his prime by any means.
