Castano shouldnt rematch jermell

I don't mind seeing it again. It was an OK fight. If it doesn't happen, all the better. I don't wanna see any crooked belts getting unified. Hopefully it never happens for that reason.

If I’m castano I don’t rematch him next because most people felt I won. Castano deserves an optional defense where he can make some good money and then entertain a rematch as long as the finances benefit him. If not, go to Australia and make a big payday to defend against Tzuyu . it just feels like a rematch gives charlo the advantage because he now knows what to expect.

I respectfully disagree, I think he should fight him again immediately. He's a fighter, and fighters should fight. It's a bout for undisputed and unification and if you want the glory you have to risk your guts.

I see this going like harrison 2 castano was badly hurt in the 10th and i think mell would stop him. I thought mell lost at least 8 rounds, maybe 9, but i think in a rematch he'd KO him if jermell ko'd castano in the rematch, people will say in hindsight that a draw was fair, and that a 9-3 scorecard for jermell wasn't ridiculous. if castano and jermell never fought again, most people would agree that castano was robbed I think mell would get KO'd if they fight again

I agree with you. I think Castano risks getting KO-ed. Mell would fight smarter and fucus on hurting Castano early to make the rest of the night easier. Castano has power to beat Mell but he needs more skill. If Castano went under Reynoso I'd give him a chance but for now I'll go with Mell. And as I was saying in the other threads, I was fine with the draw.
