Argentinians remembered the Chino vs Floyd glove drama. They are also a culture that are considered highly racist… I wouldn’t be surprised if the fight is cancelled, ESPECIALLY if Team Castaño, whom know the game very well, suspect weird padding from Charlo’s gloves. It’s not about the weight of the gloves but the distribution of the padding. Less padding by the knuckles would suggest that they would want Jermell to pot shot the head only, all night. Less padding and hitting to the body is risky and could cause an injury during the fight. Perhaps Team Castaño know this. They probably feel Charlo will only be focusing on the head even thought they’re going to bring in a brawl. Also Argentinians are some of the most well conditioned fighters like Mexicans because they naturally grew up playing football. These details are important and Team Charlo know it’s going to be a difficult fight I don't mind the bold. I think everyone is a racist or tribalist in some way. We can all deny it. We are all trying to get along. I'm more of a Castano fan than Charlo. I like his fighting style and in spots reminds me of one of my favorites all time, Sergio Martinez. On the other hand, Charlo is one of my people, African American, but I'm still warming up to him. Argentinians on here are clear on who they are rooting for. I respect that. African Americans are hardly nationalist, but race matters. 50/50 for me. When I say only War Boxing:boxing: instead of a fighter's name, it means I'm neutral in this fight.
