you are the one who tied yourself into a complete pretzel with the asterisk stuff. floyds biggest win of his career is an asterisk according to you and floyd himself.
“In my mind, Miguel Cotto is still undefeated,” Mayweather said "He lost to one guy who was cheating, and to another guy at a catch weight,”
No *, no Pac vs Cotto
But I gave Pac credit for taking so many risks
Guys, nay, LEGENDS, May was too scared to fight

May wasn't the only one. Pac stepped up to the plate. Pac is all about taking risks :boxing:

Just remember, folks
Antonio margarito and Miguel cotto was #1 and #2 at 147 when floyd was there
Wouldn't fight them
When Kostya was #1 at 140, floyd was at 140
Didn't fight him either

i dont care about asterisks. every fight should be debated. thats why we are here no? im saying pacs win over cotto is better than floyds cause cotto was not good above 147 and had already been beaten down twice. your argument was that he was drained ok thats fair. for example if canelo took 2 beat down losses and started fighting at cruiserweight where he never did anything. i would say floyds win over canelo is better than if someone beat him at cruiserweight. that doenst mean floyds win over canelo is great. these are two different arguments to be had. floyd himself said his win over canelo doesnt count even i dont believe that. it counts its just not great
Miguel cotto was top 10 at 140 for 3 years 2003-2005
Floyd was at 140 also for a couple a years
No fight
miguel cotto was top 10 at 147 from when floyd was champ til floyd retired the 1st time 2006-2008
No fight
But Miguel cotto above his natural weight division, older and after several wars and beatdowns
2012
That's the best cotto

there you have it. floyds win over canelo does not count according to floyd himself!
this is a pretty strange hill for floyyd fans to die on cause the best win of his career was when he drained canelo. if you take that out...oh my his resume is slim. also hoya brought himself to 147. you are acting like pac made him go there? you know thats not true. hoya was teh a-side not pac. hoya was planning on a floyd rematch at 147. floyd pulled out and pac stepped in. pac wasnt even planning on fighting at 147 before hoya or after hoya. thats why the cotto fight was at 145. not ideal but the whole pac wants to drain people narrative is completely false and only works if you are devoid of all context. he never drained someone who was in the same division as him like floyd did
Blahblahblah

The Cotto Pac would never fight.
I can type that all day if you want.
Yeah the cotto that was older, above his division and been thru wars and beatdowns
How about the undefeated 140,147 cotto?
Why didn't floyd fight him?
