He already a champion in three weight classes and still growing. Can he pull it off? He would have to win titles in each division up to 140 to tie, 147 to make nine.
Leave it to the the hamburger grown Americans with a culture of juicing as 14 yr olds to accuse everyone of PED use. I’d imagine if Pacquiao was abusing HGH to the point his head is growing like that, he’d at least (at least) have a HGH gut like GSP and Barry Bonds. HGH grows your organs too.
Pacquiao at 26 (at 130) was coming in as heavy as 144lb’s and at 29 was at 147lbs. Pacquiao is taller than Donaire, Donaire is a good bit taller than Inoue. Inoue is 28 and still 118. No chance.
floyd who is known a PED cheater could only manage 5 division champion.
Well if poochiao would have another lineal title amongst those 8 if he was skilled enough to beat floyd. cant have everything can you

different body types though. Manny looks like his head alone is 118lbs
Manny was his size once too but 20 years of HGH would grow anyone's melon
Aside from his physical limitations, Time would be his biggest enemy. He's 28 & is a 3 division world champion, lets just say he forgoes fighting the winner of Donaire & Casimero. He have to jump from weight class to weight class for at minimum 6-7 years. In this make-believe timeline, lets assume every champion (including him) stays in their division & is fighting at the same level today. I believe he could take a belt at 122, 126 & 130, Do you seriously believe he could beat Teo for a belt at 135? Ok lets say he does, does he beat Taylor for his belts at 140? I'm gonna say no. To be honest i think he caps out at 126 maybe 130 after that he loses to bigger fighters imo.
He's already 28, how much growing do you expect him to do? I think 126 will be his ceiling. All that matters is that he fights often and against decent competition.
Pacman has big calves and probably thighs(it's hard to tell with long trunks on) and like others have said his head is huge for his frame. Monster is built on the line of typical jockey and a much smaller bone structure.
I would love to know if he does much of a water cut to make 118, if he does he could probably win world titles up to featherweight. One thing different than say Nonito is he is huge puncher and if he retains his power at 122 and 126 he can keep the respect of larger men than him.
I do agree that body types, bone structure and frame must be taken into account. Tank is also 5’5”, yet struggles to make 135, and likely even 140. Floyd started out at 107 in the amateurs and gained the same amount of weight as Manny did over a 15 year time span. The we have Loma, who is 5’7”, but small framed and seems to have maxed out his effective speed and punching power at 135. I can’t see him going any higher. He should probably go back to 130.
This is why I don’t hold it against fighters who remain at one ideal weight class. Hagler and GGG spent their careers at 160 because that was the best weight for their frame and where they were most effective.

"Little" Manny was weighing 144lbs in the ring vs 139lbs. Erik Morales for their 3rd fight at 130lbs. 14lb. rehydration. Just 1 example. Pacquiao wasn't much smaller than a lot of his marquee opponents. He also outweighed Oscar in the ring but that was more on Oscar for allowing himself to be drained and not rehydrating properly.
Floyd refused to be weighed when he fought “the midget” Manny, or Marquez who came up almost three weight classes. In fact he refused to make weight for a catchweight against Marquez.
That's not how height works. There are different types of body type. Genaddy Golovkin and Mike Tyson are the exact same height. Sebastian Fundora and Anthony Joshua are the same height. You can't just say "he's this tall so he can realistically pack on X amount of muscle"
it’s not that difficult of a science.
the more area you have to work with, the more potential you have to put onto a body.
doesn’t mean any of them will perform well at those weights. Which is what I think the disconnect here is.
I’m not saying he will perform excellent there. But he can certainly weight as much as Rigondeaux did to fight Lomachenko.
Hell there’s people right now 5’5 walking down the street fat af weighing as much as a cruiser weight with a “small frame” compared to Naoya as well.
so it’s not impossible for Naoya to weigh more and fight. How well will he fight? I don’t know. But none of us know Naoya’s true dimensions only peering through a tv screen.
back in 2003 I bet nobody thought “that Pacman can be a welterweight, I just know it.”
he's as big as pac and i think he can if his skill level will be as good as pac.

Yes. Because height determines just how much weight your body can realistically hold.
the taller you are, the more weight distributed across your frame.
that’s why basketball players like Kevin Durant look like malnourished twelve year olds but weigh 240lbs.
doesn’t mean you will be the best at that weight but theoretically, you can make that weight. Will his power, speed, or comfort carry up? I don’t know. But his body should be able to make the weight.
