If Donaire couldn't beat him with that injury in an early rounds, how's he expected to do it with an Inoue that can see out of both eyes?? Unless you guys are betting on Inoue getting the same eye injury, he will crush him even more convincingly in a rematch.

Would definitely watch it again and Nonito remains one of my favourite dudes in the whole sport, but I just don't see this going any better for Nonito on a rerun. Oubaali's a great little fighter, canny and busy, but he had his hands full with Naoya's relatively average little brother. IDK, age is real and no matter how great he was and is Nonito is an old man in boxing terms, whilst Naoya - at 28 - is just coming into his prime. Folk will rightly say Nonito has learned about Naoya, but Naoya has also learned about Nonito.

Any normal ref would've had Donaire out in the first fight. As much as I love Donaire, Inoue is too much.

He's got massive power, maybe the most fight defining left hook in boxing, still. Plus, he really looks HUGE at 118. Against Inoue, Donaire looks HEFTY. But hey, he can make the weight... Donaire is a real threat, every time, especially at 118.

Donaire might KO him in a rematch. Archie Moore would lose to a youngin and then beat his ass in a rematch. Can’t underestimate the experience of the old man especially if they’ve seen you once before.
