Do we have undisputed champions at 147 or 160? No. So, why should I care.
I would like to see Fury - Joshua, but I can live without that. At the end of the day Joshua is someone who is 1-1 with Ruiz.
If Fury fights Wilder, Whyte, Joyce or Usyk in next fights, I am also fine with that.
Joyce and Usyk are clearly dangerous fights.
Like Andy Ruiz? :lol1:
Ruiz won't be getting into position to get another shot at the title. He'll be well beaten before then. He can fight bums like they all do over there, but that won't earn him a crack at the title.
Well I care about all unifications and all undisputed titles... The sport desperately needs some kinda clarity to win back some of the fans it's lost over the past couple decades, but I don't personally care more about the Heavyweights than the other divisions... Although it would be kinda cool if the accolade of 'Heavyweight Champion of the World' could once again hold the same kinda mystique as it did in the late 20th C.
Unlike Lewis, as long as AJ stays off of US soil, he may be ok. :lol1:
AJ would be fine on US soil. But why would he be over there anyway? There is nothing for him over there other than some bums.
You're fine about Fury ducking the top fighter at the weight in AJ? That's absurd.
But it's how the Lennox Lewis story went too. AJ will get his hands on them eventually, and it will be sweet to watch him smack them both about. Fury and Wilder are terrified of the man.

The heavyweights are the open class of boxing. The best heavyweight boxer beats every other boxer on the planet. I'd like to know who that boxer is.
If the best heavyweight boxer beats every other boxer on the planet it's usually just because of size.
Not because of fighting skill, conditioning, or heart. Which is basically everything that makes boxing beautiful and compelling.
I almost can't watch heavyweights anymore because there is such a lack of action compared to the lower weights.

AJ is a terrific athlete and a great boxer. Wilder will never have faced anyone more powerful than AJ and Fury will look good in the beginning until AJ starts to overwhelm him later.
