People think Manny is crazy for taking the Spence fight at age 42.
But I believe on the inside, Manny is still hurting from the loss to Floyd. To lose the fight of the century, when the whole world put their hopes on you to win..... that loss eats away at him deep down. It haunts him.
It hurts him so much, in fact, that he no longer cares if he lives or dies.
A lion like Pac cannot live with the fact that Floyd beat him. He MUST make up for it somehow.
With the Spence fight, Manny now has a chance to make up for the biggest loss and regret of his career. If he can beat Spence at age 42, it may go down as the greatest victory in boxing history, and he will have decisively elevated himself above his arch-rival- Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Manny is gambling his life to change the past, to re-write history.
Death before dishonor.
I respect him for it.
But Spence won't let it happen.
Berto > Broner, Algieri, Rios, Hatton, Lucas, Shot DLH..........
Are we talking about berto pre ortiz? Berto was shot to bits and had done nothing but lose against ortiz whom he himself did naff all his whole career ..they both made a name for themselves out of a spectacularly even fight leagues below elite level
Hatton ,rios and algieri are better wins than berto
Considering he is in Politics and is set to run for President pretty obvious that type of info is designed to hurt him.
It's your story, tell it anyway you want.
Pacquiao is taking it because the McGregor fight fell apart and he's desperate for money. If McGregor didn't lose you'd be preparing to watch that. Stop the BS that he's doing it for legacy etc.
All facts. He took the Spence fight once McGregor lost, and Arum lied about paying him 40 mil for Crawford. Spence was his next option.
Want more proof? He wouldn't have sat and gotten stripped for his belt, is Spence was on the docket this whole time.
I usually don't agree with much you say, but you are absolutely correct in this instance.
your eyes must not be working too well. thats a shame. braille keyboard? i salute your dedication. floyd easily won even though pac landed the much cleaner harder punches? it just doesnt add up and gives away your extreme bias. you cant easily win when one guy lands head rocking punches and all you land is a little grazing jab that doesn't move him one bit. floyds own corner said he was losing after 10 rounds so mathematically he couldn't win according to them. pretty silly really to try and pretend floyd put on some great boxing display in that fight. he didnt. ironically one of the reasons he didnt is because he was so entitled and knew people like you were out there and would pretend like he did even if he didnt! pac was clearly much better than he thought he would be and so he didnt take any risks and ran out the clock but the name of the game is clean punching and he lost that one by huge margins.
it is a bit strange seeing how many people think floyd won given his weak performance. i would have expected more of a split but i think the american commentating definitely influenced people as the commentators created a narrative of pac not being able to get to floyd(when thats not the point of boxing) the point is to land the better punches which he was doing so why would he have to "get to floyd" or "press the fight" so he was getting to floyd just not in the way they thought he would maidana style or something. very bizarre but thats why you see lots of foreign media who thought pac won and not as many american media. they were all watching through the same lens. really bad commentary and not an accurate depiction of what was happening in the fight from a clean punching stand point. they distracted people with "this is boring i guess floyd is winning" instead of breaking down that pac was making floyd hesitant to throw and picking him off with clean shots which is backed up with the video. floyd knows what happened in that ring cause he felt all of pacs shots and knew he was not connecting clean. thats why he avoided the rematch. i dont think grazing a guys nose with a tickle jab is going to make someone think they won a fight no matter how much of a narcissist they are.
Well said. tickle jabs don't really count in the pro scene. In the pros. It's not like the amatuers that you do love taps and its a point. In the pro scene, It's the hurt business. Floyd was tickling Pac with love taps. And as the story goes the biased home town gave it to Floyd. That says it all right there. Not to mention who was the true ring general, the effective aggressor who was consistently in the middle of the ring. That was Pac.. And as the facts have also shown. The one who landed the more punches and the cleaner punches, even if you count Floyd's tickle jabs was still Pac. And that's with a bad right shoulder. Imagine if that was a 100% Pac in there.
And if Floyd wasn't even sticking IVs in his system.. What will happen to Floyd against a healthy Pac.. It's mute and academic. That's why Floyd never came back for rematch even if he knows it's big money and for legacy.
Case closed.
OMG enough of this Floyd vs Pac's chit.
Floyd retired remember....................................Or are you brain dead.
Pac's beat a 30 year old Thurman (Champion) and is set to fight a 31 year old Spence.
If Pac's wins OMG!...............................................What's next Crawford? :boxing:
Pac will fight Crawford if he beats spence
Now whether it happens or not I dunno
Politics
But we all know pac will fight
Set financially? Not from the reports. But it's your story, tell it anyway you want.

I wish Floyd wouldn't have fought berto And fought gg G instead because of what Pac is continuing to do. Because Pac was going to enhance his legacy after loss to floyd. Floyd kind of regressed backwards.
Time stands still for noone
BodyBagz but berto is an atg opponent, back me up here ballbag..:luvbed:
He didn't want to take an ass whooping, that's why he didn't go all out even though he was obviously massively behind.
Yeah I thought his clinch count way behind Floyd's

Barrera Morales is one of the best trilogies of all time. People don’t talk about it enough
Dude, I remember one moment where Morales got clipped on the ropes and his body shut off, head sagged, ready to
go and then he woke up and instantly started firing back at Barrera. Lol. It reminds me of someone who falls asleep at the wheel and then wakes up and tries to act like they got their **** together
i saw a video recently though where Barrera and Morales are trying to put it all behind them. They were chilling with a beer at a Mexican bbq as a host interviewed them but you can tell it’s still a bit tense.
Theyre older now
Both in Mexican TV media
Theyre trying to be mature
But I wouldn't be surprised if one day they piss each other off and throw hands in the TV studio
Pac is just continuing to do what he's always did and that's fight the best. And Floyd's never had anything to do with it so why would floyd have anything to do with Pac fighting spence.
pac likes to prove he's the best, whilst floyd fighting bert o doesnt
Wass never a fan of Pac as he slaughtered all my heroes, ha. But it doesn’t sit well with me watching a legend go out like this. I want to see him win this unwinnable fight. I just can’t see how he can do it though.
I bet you Barrera, morales, Marquez all like pac more than they like each other lol
Especially Barrera and morales
Barrera called morales a dumb Indian and they use to throw punches at each other during pressers
God those were beautiful fights between mab and el terrible
Maybe just as good as the 4 between jmm and pac

If spence is aggressive early and opens up early
pac will beat his ass
if spence is more conservative and waits to middle rounds to open up then maybe pac will be too tired to make it to the end
Floyd fans really have vivid imaginations, fighting spence to make up for Floyd loss? I'm sure Pac would have prefere d to be fighting Floyd but floyd scared to lose to Pac again. Pac was willing to give Floyd chance to avenge loss, just like maidana and castillo did.
No one credible thinks maidana, castillo, and ESPECIALLY pac beat Floyd. Maidana won 4 rounds, Castillo 5, and Pac won 2-3
Did he fight ledwaba on short notice to make up for Mayweather loss too?
Or jump a division to fight Barrera in Texas?
Or jump a division to fight morales?
or jump 2 divisions to fight delahoya?
Or fight the top 4 ranked 147 guys back to back to back to back?
