Depends on what you mean by "trash". I personally think Larry Holmes has a top 20 resume for a heavy, he's in my top 10. Earnie Shavers 2x Ken Norton Gerry Cooney also a lot of Tyson's notable names were Holmes leftovers His 1 round destruction of Marvis Frazier is one of the funniest fights I've ever seen he has other good names too, but definitely not what I'd put under "trash". But I could totally see why his resume can be underwhelming compared to his skillset. There's so many good/great boxers with one notable victory that I'd say that anyone who's top 100 of anything, can't be trash. Can they be overrated as hell/not as high as people rate? Sure, but not trash. Perhaps I'm too fussy :(

We can pick apart just about any resume, but yeah in my opinion I think it's a phenomenal, elite resume. I would give Floyd the same credit for the resume that I give Manny. As for Floyd going through Manny's resume unbeaten -- I think he possibly does but gets taken into extremely deep waters by Rustico Torrecampo ;) No seriously Mayweather would be an obvious favorite against every opponent on that resume, but then again Floyd is also one of the greatest of all-time and you could say the same of virtually any resume out there (around Floyd's weight class). Floyd goes through them all undefeated. Floyd had an elite, A+ resume himself and went through it unscathed so there's nothing to lead me to believe that he wouldn't do the same with Manny's or anyone else's. Heck imagine what he would do with Terrence Crawford's resume. Floyd could sleepwalk through Terrence Crawford's resume undefeated. Heck as much as I think Errol Spence has a really nice resume -- I think it's one of the best WW resumes out there amongst his generation, but Floyd cruises through Spence's resume unbeaten as well. You're certainly entitled to your opinion. But...I definitely could not disagree more that Manny Pacquiao's legacy is "smoke and mirrors". I think what he has accomplished in his career is nothing short of spectacular, and I think most, if not all historians of the sport of boxing will remember his legacy very, very fondly. To say the least. I don't think you will be able to find a single historian of the sport who wouldn't have Pacquiao as a certified all-time great & first ballot shue-in hall of famer. clottey-pac was very strange. clottey didnt take any damage in that fight and came out fresh in an era where pac was busting up his opponents but clottey barely threw. I thought he was the right style to give pac problems but it didnt look like he was trying, like he intentionally held back Clottey was sturdy but clearly too slow and methodical. No way was he going to win a rd.

initial thought is spence must be favored based on mannys age. probably like 80-20 percent chance in spences favor really though i will have time between now and august to rewatch spence-danny, spence-mikey and pac vs thurman and pac -broner and come up with a better prediction broner just shelled up like he does and didnt throw shit so that fight didnt tell us much about pac. nobody really has pressed pac in a while but also nobody has really pressed spence in a while either. spence looked like he is back to normal after his car crash but danny is content to just stand outside and get outboxed and collect his check. what happens if spence gets hit in the mouth and feels his fake teeth get loose, how will he hold up mentally at that point, is he really 100% physically and mentally. can manny even do it anymore or did he just fight the right hand picked guys in shelled up broner and inactive broken thurman.
