He didn’t write the letter because he didn’t want to take the 25-percent cut. The end. Right. Porter has also said he thinks Crawford will join PBC soon. So like he said “I’m sitting back and seeing what’s gonna happen”.

TBH after the whole situation with Lopez I would have gone to purse bids if I was Bud, let alone Porter. This is the exact type of situation where Hearn or triller would pay overs and both fighters would get paid more. It says specifically that Bud doesn't have mandatory obligations like other WBO champs,& that if a network contracted champ fighter says his network doesn't want it, theres nothing Porter can do(he can't fill out that form, Because if you actually read the rules it makes clear that a fighter can only petition to go to purse bid if they've already been told to negotiate with the champ ,& they would only be told to negotiate if they were designated mando,& if it was due to Porters fault in any way,Ortiz would've been designated mandatory instead (we know Ortiz became#1 because he won the WBO international belt,which upgraded his ranking over Porter automatically)

They basically wanted to go and negotiate a good payday with Arum, without having the whole purse bid done because the purse bid doesn’t favour a mando. The issue is Arum already came out and said he is losing money on Crawford. So he isn’t going to be paying Porter anything more than he earns at PBC, this is why PBC themselves aren’t keen to do the fight, hence why not a single poster can tell you why Haymon can’t do the fight himself even if you ask them to direct that same Arum energy towards Al.
