Canelo is gonna lose so badly that it's going to reflect on the scorecards. 116-112 type of fight. Not even a BJS fan or anything but he has all the skills to beat him. I'm putting money on him winning a decision.
While BJS is definitely skilled I can't help but feel not only are his skills overrated but also stuff like his conditioning need to be considered.
Why do we act like he is this masterboxer when he goes life and death in every damn fight? The only guy he has shutout was an awfully limited LeMule who for me simply hasn't been the same since GGG beat the hell out of him & that must have been a good 5 years back now and at MW.
What about that Akovov? Then there was some Argentinian fella who outboxed him actually & beat the hell out of him until he pulled it out of nowhere.
Like he always starts off well as he did vs Lee, even Murray to a degree, Eubank Jr but fades horribly and ends up going life & death.
These were fought at his pace also. Very slow pace with no real action and he wasn't taking shots.
I just do not see any sort of consistency to make me believe he is skilled, active or conditioned enough to keep it up over 12 rounds vs Canelo of all fighters.
I agree with you bro. Say what you want about Canelo vs GGG or Lara, there should be no doubt in anyone's mind that Canelo is a world class fighter and has faced way better opposition than Billy Joe Saunders has.
Then again, Fury also didn't have the resume Klitschko did and dethroned him, but Canelo is in his prime, so my prediction for the fight is, Canelo via stoppage. BJS just lacks the power to stop Canelo and we all know you cannot beat Canelo on points.
You are either throwing away your money or your putting up some money to ease the pain if canelo miraculously loses lol. BJS has both a garbage resume AND looks terrible under the eye test.
:lol1:
Upsets happen all the time in boxing. BJS may not have the best resume, and yeah he has shoddy performances. But I have no doubt that BJS will show up to win this 100%. Come on, think about the difference between Saunders, and guys like Kovalev and Callum Smith. Saunders is truly in this fight to win. We don't see that for most Canelo opponents.
I'm putting $300 down. I'll show you.

I love this demand that skeptics break down and give fealty and reparations over Canelo's obvious new "mastery" of slick southpaw business in the event of a win, regardless *how* the win comes. If Saunders gives him the fight of his life in a controversial SD that could be intelligently argued as a Saunders 7 5, nah, sorry. If Canelo breaks him down and delivers the deathblow in 7, sure let's have the conservation. Either way I look forward to 60 redundant topics on the matter that will totally be started by a slew of people as opposed to literally one
And if canelo wins will you give him his full credit?
I also believe it will be a very tough fight both ways.
Of course lol. BJS is a great fighter. Most people say Canelo has cement feet (this is kind of true). And BJS is high iq, slick, fast feet, southpaw, etc. This would silence all the criticism he got from the Lara fight (which I give Canelo credit for as I thought he won).
Make sure you don’t disappear after the the fight.
Nah if I'm wrong feel free to quote me and I'll admit I'm wrong. I'm a Canelo fan, but I'm a boxing fan first and I can admit when I predicted wrong.
bl0wj0b saunders wont outbox clenelo, both are PED cheaters but clenelo is on another level and he will knock dat gypsy bum out via bodyshot 100%.
the best bl0wj0b saunders can do is win the early rounds like khan did but canelo will make the adjustments by round 3-4 and then will force billy to get on his bike the rest of the fight because otherwise he will get knocked the phukk out.
The sensible money is on Canelo here.
It amazes me how one good performance vs a guy as painfully limited as Lemieux, 5 years back no less has people brainwashed into believing he can do the same to Canelo.
There are levels to this. How often do you ever see a guy going from beating the stiffs BJS has been fighting to beat someone near Canelo's level? I'm not really even understanding the eye-test here. He has one good performance in his career.
This is correct and the other thing you have to realize is that Lemieux had a very off night, rumor had it he was sick or something, and BJS was at his absolute best, which he usually doesn't bring to the table, and he still couldn't knock the guy out.
Let's not forget that BJS struggled with Willie Monroe Junior, you mean to tell me Canelo can't box Saunders better than Willie Monroe? Embarrassing.

He has virtually zero % of stopping Canelo outside of a freak injury and he isn't getting the nod even if he was to outbox him which I've seen no proof nothing that would lead me to suggest he could over 12 rounds.
If anything the odds are too close, betting on BJS is a terrible bet & I'll stick by it even if he wins. The risk to reward ratio is way too high!
I am surprised the line is as close as it is. Canelo for me is almost a dead cert I am surprised the bookies don't have this one wider but I guess its because of the bias Brits lumping on BJS acting like he is Tyson Fury.
