You have Lopez, Loma, Garcia, Davis, and Haney... and none of these fighters are fighting each other or are even scheduled to fight one another in the near future! You have the most stacked division in boxing, and there is literally not ONE FIGHT between ANY combination of these five fighters being made. It is simply disgraceful.
You could have Loma-Garcia, Loma-Lopez II, Loma-Davis, Loma-Haney... or Davis-Garcia, Davis-Haney, Davis-Lopez... and so and so forth... keep mix and matching however you want... they would ALL be good fights... not ONE is being made... think about how crazy that is lol...
It hurts to be a boxing fan sometimes.
I get what you're saying, but I'm sick of giving these fighters the benefit of the doubt (i.e. let them build themselves up a little more and the big fights will happen... they RARELY if ever do).
It's crazy that we might not see even ONE fight between these fighters by the end of the year. It's not even worth thinking about what great fights these would be, because you know it's not going to happen. I suppose though, they will EVENTUALLY have to fight one another... But it won't be before they've fought 20 fighters collectively that the public has never heard of.
Now a days the star fighters are so scared of losing their "0". I know it is prize fighting but fighting the right opponent really raises their stock. I hate all the negotiations, politics and promotional companies nonsense that don't allow the fights to happen. I don't mind build ups but these guys name drop a lot and then fight someone else. Garcia had the best match lined up from all of them and is now out for some emotional reason. When he comes back I bet you it is not going to be against Fortuna.
Teofimo fought Loma. Someone Stank outright ducked.
Stank is the one that doesn't want to fight anyone. I'll give Haney credit for finally stepping up against Linares.
Bro how Is Tank trying to make the best fights when he straight out ducked Loma for years.
Tanks a good fighter and will fight whoever's in front off him but his team are a bunch of cherry pickers if you ask me.
Gervonta Davis is not a lightweight. He had a one off at that weight and his very next fight was at 130. Now his next fight is at 140. The lightweight division does suck but don't put Tank in their mess it has nothing to do with him he's not a lightweight.
So he can fight at 130 AND 140 but 135 is unnatural? lol
Lopez refused a rematch for Loma, Tank still insists he too young for Loma, Haney wants a shot at undisputed but stil hasn’t fight anyone.Ryan and Loma are the only ones trying.
I'm sure some people will say "But the pandemic etc."
But I have a feeling things would be playing out the same way if covid was never a thing and life was carrying on as usual.
Yeah, it’s no excuse. Fury v AJ is about to be announced, the biggest fight in boxing
Next month there’s two big unification bouts with Canelo v BJS and Taylor v Ramirez.
If fighters really want the fights, they will get made
135 is gonna be like 147 with Crawford and Spence.
A lot of names and they are not fighting each other. They rather raise their profile and try to get a money fight instead of making a statement or dare to be great. Ryan is out of a fight because his feelings are hurt, Haney is taking a step in the right direction, Tank for some reason is fighting a bigger fighter in a different division, Lopez is clearing his mandatory and Loma has a good fight lined up. Lets see what happens after all these bouts take place.

Davis is fighting smaller guys only. Ryan is instagram attention whore. All are ducking Loma. This division sux.
Haney has never ducked Lomachenko. Stop lying.
I know what’s gonna happen. They will all get on Twitter and trade more words.
LOL, the is as much fight we will get from this bunch. A Twitter fight. I think Loma is the only one willing to face to top opposition.

Devin Haney and Tank are the only ones trying to fight the best, the rest don't seem to do that

Yeah it’s a joke. All talk and no action.
Yes, it would be better if all these guys were fighting each other. We are getting Loma/Nakatani and hopefully if Loma wins he then fights Haney or Haney fights the winner of Kambosis/Teo. Ryan looks out for a while so Haney maybe fights Fontura if he doesn't get Teo or Loma after his next fight.
Teo very well may go to 140 after the Kambosis fight.
160 is because of GGG, Charlo, Andrade and Munguia who are all fighting everybody else besides each other
135 these guys are all still young and haven't even reached their Peek as fighters and those fights will ultimately happen. I doubt any of those fights at 160 will happen
The 160 pound division is the biggest disgrace to boxing right now. At least there is an undisputed champ at 135. NO ONE AT 160 unified at the moment, so many good fights to make.
So, because one guy beat Lomachenko, that means Davis, Haney, Ryan have no business to fight him?
What a bunch of *******. Disgusting.
Who said any of that? You said all of them are ducking Lomachenko.......When Lopez just beat him in his prior fight. So Lopez can't be ducking someone he just beat. And besides, Lomachenko is coming off surgery and is fighting Nakatani next. That fight had been in the works damn near after he lost to Lopez.
If Lomachenko wins, he will be right in the hunt with the rest of the LWs.
