It's in the title. Try and disprove this I dare you. The only one who maybe beats Mikey is Jose Benavidez solely because that MotherF@cker is 6"1'. An okay tall fighter can beat a good short fighter. Anyways, I want to see all of the diehards come out. Before you get started I already know that Mikey Garcia isn't a very good win for Spence, at least in my opinion, I just think Mikey is good enough to beat everyone on Bud resume.
how is what you listed a phenomenal resume? that is literally all i asked..that is a mediocre resume
If Mikey has a mediocre resume then which active fighter around the same age (with about the same number of fights) has a phenomenal resume?
Your rolodex of knowledge is mediocre. You obviously don't even know half of the names on there.
What does Crawford do better than Garcia?
Crawford is faster, stronger, bigger and has more tools in his tool box...switches stances etc..neither have great resumes so Im not sure why you call;ed Garcia's phenomenal I have watched Garcia for a long time even when he quit against mediocre Salido..I like Garcia but Crawford would truck him he is to small, to slow and is not the better boxer here
aside from Spence who are all these world beaters he has faced? I like him but it is not like he has been facing huge names and elite boxers
lol to be honest i thought mikey was always kind of overrated in his heydays so i don't think he's some elite world beater. but the opposition he's faced has either been a quality opponent, or closer in their prime. For instance, I don't think robert easter jr is some amazing fighter, but mikey beating him under the circumstances that easter jr was in his strongest weight class, undefeated, actually not a no-name...is better than most of bud's opponents. Like kell brook was good back in his prime in like 2013, but kell brook in 2020 is a meaningless win.
fight better people imo...that being said Crawford would beat Mikey

Have you even seem him fight besides Broner and Spence?
Weren't you the guy that said Broner would be the best ever?
Do you even watch boxing regularly or have ever watched regularly?
Even though Salido had just got to Juanma, Lopez was still was a force at that time. Sometimes awkward guys got your number like look at Mayorga. Guy sucks but Forrest couldn't get past him. Did Vernon suck? Hell no, Vernon was an exceptionally great fighter. Salido is a great spoiler. I made a lot of money on Lopez during his time.
Remillard was a really good win against an undefeated blue chip prospect. If you watched boxing in the last 15 years, you would have seen Remillard being showcased quite frequently. Mikey beat his a$$.
Concepcion, Barros, Salido, Martinez, Burgos, Broner, Easter, Vargas are all great wins.
Crawford literally ain't fought anybody besides a 33 out of his prime Gamboa, broke down pastit Khan, brokendown pastit Brook. Indongo is a bum that just got starched by a 9-0 fighter, NINE AND O lmao. I don't rate Benevidez, his brother maybe but not him.
Crawford is fighting BUMS, at least Garcia been stepping up to the plate and fought Spence and looking to fight the best. Crawfish is a fake looking for the easiest road to travel.
Aren't you the guy they keep posting in that old thread about how awesome you thought Broner would be?
Remember Larryx: Broner Will Be Really Strong at 135?
Come on man, you're not fooling anybody. We all know who you pick and why you pick.
how is what you listed a phenomenal resume? that is literally all i asked..that is a mediocre resume
You're tripping, Garcia obliterates Crawford. Garcia's record id phenominal, Crawford ain't fought nobody and happy doing it. Your picks are always based on race and when they're not (Canelo) youre picking out of personal bias because you don't like how one side is acting. YDKSAB, why you even post here?
what makes his resume phenomenal? whats his best win Broner?
what can we expect from his trash resume? bud is unproven and self proclaim when he rejected the 60/40 split against spence.. mikey will beat the shlt out of bud easily.
I don’t disagree. I intended to say that Gamboa was slightly past what I consider his absolute peak at 126, however he was still prime and very good at 135 against Terrence Crawford.
Anyway back to point of the thread, Mikey wouldn't even fight Gamboa
Dude was undefeated and dominated an undefeated Perez prior to Gamboa. Gamboa was having trouble making weight at 130 - and was caught using PEDs to help make weight - so he moved up.
Crawford beat prime Gamboa. The same Gamboa Mikey G was afraid to fight.

Well prime Gamboa was at 126 and that was well before Terrence Crawford fought him at 135. Gamboa was slightly past his peak but still very good when he got to Bud. I broke down the matchups according to the timeline of when Crawford fought those guys, not necessarily when every guy was in their prime

Mikey isnt that great
hes slow with not much power
he relied on draining down a lot to hold a size advantage
gamboa would be a hard fight
postol would be a hard fight
horn would be a hard fight
kell brook would would beat him for sure
khan i think also beats him, he dont really have much power to hurt khan who will beat him to the punch on the outside
Out of all of them though kell brook for sure beats him
So you think Crawford beat Horn because he held him? That speaks for itself and you can't even be taken seriously on this. There is nothing left for me to say about it.
it helped him win did it not? you arent factoring in how different a fight can be if things like that arent allowed or if a fighter doesnt do it for whatever reason. just take the first and second maidana fights. floyd didnt hold much in the first and had a rough go, second fight he just held nonstop, was barely at risk and floated through. would a floyd-maidana rematch take place if the second fight had happened first? obviously not. you would prob come on here and say you think floyd won because he held him? and i would say it helped did it not? my point wasnt even that crawford is some kind of andre ward like cheater, its that circumstances like that can affect a fight more than we think. horns clealry not as good as crawford but he clearly wasnt as good as pac either and "won" so its not inconceivable that he could "win" against crawford given the right circumstances.

cancelled for misusing that word
The bolded , I wish he would go back to 140 ...
Yea. But I think hes hesitant cause his stable mate is running things down there rn.. I honestly favor him over ramirez too
Mikey Garcia literally ducked the prime Gamboa that TC stopped
