Oh yes, everyone is ducking Haney. That's why he can't find anyone to defend his fake title against, because they're afraid of the guy who coulldn't hurt Gamboa with a beer gut.
I don't think Lomahcenko is a ducker historically, unlike a lot of these divas in boxing he'll take on young hungry lions. Although I do think he's met his limit at 135 and his confidence levels have gone down a bit knowing that even these C level fighters at 135 were able to compete with him and when he stepped it up to Lopez he lost convincingly.
That's the question. No peep from him. Doesn't look like someone preparing to come back. We'll see.
Arum requested the franchise crap too. Not Lomachenko himself. I saw that conference live with Arum and Hearn. I don't think Loma was even consulted. Arum has something against Haney. I don't exactly know what it is.

I do hope you're right, although I do think Loma looked pretty tentative in almost all his fights at 135, even against guys like Linares, Pedraza and Campbell who can't punch for ****.

Unless the Lopez fight and the saga that followed took everything out of him, I don't see Loma ducking this fight. I blame Arum more. He's a master architect of blocking fights. As to the fight, I see Loma winning either by decision or KO. Haney is too featherfisted to keep him honest. He doesn't have the power to KO Loma either. I don't see it happening anytime soon.
Expect Linares or someone similar.

See the video below. I think we all know why. He'd make it look far easier than Teofimo did.
