You're not arguing that those guys wouldn't have got a fair shout though when it came to the judging it just makes rooting for canelo a guilty pleasure for you,you know this guy stacks all the odds including judges refs and whatever else in his favour prefight like some good ass tainted meat
if anyone in the future beats canelo by say 1 round clearly they're not getting the decision the guys a crook
You're having a laugh w this bs, ggg literally picked the refs the rematch,& forced his opponent to use gggs choice of gloves, along with getting to keep the 1 judge that said he won 1st fight,as well as judges who had ggg winning by multiple pts vs Jacobs(which was bs):dunce: he literally stacked the judges by definition,Lara was beaten by every definition of boxing scoring & was kd but pos Byrd ruled it a slip
At least I know 1 fanboi hater who will be crying robbery if BJS stays upright,& you'll be calling BJS a cherrypick if Canelo kos him. You & Sid-knee belong in a ggg fanatics scorned club
Twice against ggg
Sorry to burst your bubble but two draws were fine. A narrow GGG win in the 1st fight was also fine.
the judges cards were prefilled against mayweather
That was a joke.
Pretty sure they were filled out before the kovalev fight
Umm Kovalev was right in the fight at the time of stoppage...? If you want to complain about Kova not throwing his right hand, maybe, but Canelo was doing a bit more
Scorecards were 96-94 Canelo (twice) and 95-95 when the fight was stopped. . .that was fair..
And the lara scoring was a disgrace
This is fake news. BoxingScene own official scorecard had Canelo winning. It was a bit like GGG 2 where the draw acceptable as was a decision either way. Suggesting scoring was a disgrace is inaccurate
Oh yeah and the cotton fight was way closer than the judges had it
I agree but Canelo definitely won that fight
Out of all the fights you mentioned the only ones which were "favorable" are GGG 1 and Floyd Mayweather. The lone Floyd "draw" card didn't matter and a draw was acceptable in the GGG 1 fight...you're really overreaching saying Canelo always gets robberies.
If you want to talk about Canelo cheating well you have ground to stand on there but for the most part his fights have been okay. GGG 1 and Floyd were bad cards. GGG 1 draw was acceptable although GGG shouldve gotten the nod (even so, it was a 7-5 decision) but the Floyd fight was far from a draw.
GGG 2, Lara, Kovalev, and Cotto were all good scorecards.
Lara didn't dominate Canelo... draw was probably fair. I think BJS has the talent and if he'd spent the last 5 years honing that talent by fighting top quality opponents instead of blowing up to 200Lbs between mediocre performances against C listers, he'd have a very good chance. Fighters develop by fighting other good fighters and BJS for all his natural ability has failed to do what he needs to to prepare him for this kinda challenge.
I wouldn't say Canelo's a more naturally gifted boxer, but he has become one of the best fighters in the world by facing elite or high level opposition over and over. BJS most definitely hasn't.
This is a great and intelligent observation. Who knows if BJS could do it, but his chances are definitely diminished because he hasn't really sharpened his tools during his prime years.
That said, Canelo brings pressure like nobody I have seen, so even the slickest version of BJS, even the slickest version of Mayweather may not be able to keep this 2021 version of this lad off of them. He is that good. Golovkin is an absolute come forward monster (forget the haters on here, Canelo and GGG are legit HOF fighters who battled in two great fights) - and Canelo actually backed GGG up at times (I hope they fight again as it's 1-1 in most people's minds). Anyway, Saunders has the feet of Khan (which troubled Canelo), the quick hands and awkwardness to make it interesting, but he needs to be polished and to believe in himself. Who knows. In my breakdown, I believe that BJS can and will keep Canelo off him for a good chunk of the fight, maybe winning a lot of the first 6 or 8 rounds. But as a boxer, I can tell you winning by moving away from a pressure guy and picking them off from the back foot usually means pot shotting and stealing rounds. This is very tiring as fook mentally and physically and it can feel inevitable that the tide will turn. I think Canelo's pressure will turn the tide, he is simply that good. A super fit, dialed in BJS would be the kinda guy that might just beat this kid, I just can't see him (Saunders) having the dedication and focus to bring that level of ability off the back foot, and while winning rounds, for 12 rounds. Canelo on points after taking over the fight about halfway through. Will be good, as BJS is tough, and when he realizes he is getting behind he will have a fight. Looking forward to it.
If ggg struggled to land on canelo then froch is going to be missing a huge percentage of his punches
Carl Froch has a better jab and movement than both Alvarez and Golovkin.
Froch probably hits harder than Golovkin also.
Canelo Alvarez is not strong enough to deter Carl Froch.
His stamina is also nowhere near good enough to survive.
Alvarez is not a all-time great middleweight.

Like he did Andre Dirrell?? I always thought Andre won and Carl fought very dirty.

Just because Canelo has struggled with slick southpaws before doesn't mean he'll struggle with them all.
I don't think BJS has looked great since 2017 when he beat David Lemieux who is very limited & been on a downward spiral since GGG beat him. I want to always say BJS is too inconsistent but with the amount of lackluster performances he has had I guess if anything he's actually very consistent. Even when he has dazzled if you will (First 6 vs Lee and Eubank Jr) he's faded horribly and almost thrown the fight.
Its not that I don't feel BJS won't get a fair shake I am not convinced he is good enough, fit or consistent enough to produce a performance over the full distance. I've only ever seen him box great for the distance once and that was vs a guy who didn't push him or really land anything throughout due to serious limitations. Canelo will hit him, a lot.
Nobody really knows how good Saunders is, for me? The way to beat Alvarez is movement, with fast ambush type assaults 'Alvarez is quite a static fighter, and likes to fight at a droning pace'.
From Middle Weight to Light Heavyweight the competition is below par in my opinion, that is one of the major reasons why Alvarez is having big success 'I don't think Alvarez would of survived in the 90's or even 2000's in the middle weight divisions'.
Carl Froch would of beaten down Alvarez, after wading through his attacks.
No BJS sucks and will show up a fat slob to collect his ass whopping paycheck. Canelo should just be knighted in the UK at this point, he’s terrorized that nation.
Boo Boo and Plant have a better boxer style and motivation to give Canelo fits.
Super close fights against two guys. That's what people are crying about here.
Let that sink in.
There were not 10 super close rounds that could have gone either way against Glolovkin and Trout. PERIOD. Or 9 that he allegedly won against Lara. PERIOD. Or 6 against Mayweather. PERIOD. Nobody else in the sport of boxing gets scorecards like this in high profile fights. You can't tell me it's a coincidence. This is why people on here EXPOSE THE FRAUD AND CORRUPTUION. Not "crying." They're exposing corruption on a criminal level.
That is corruption. That is fraud. Imagine if you are a promoter and I am a promoter and our boxers are fighting and I tell you that at least 1 of the judges will give it to my fighter no matter what. You wouldn't be so happy would you? Also if we know for a fact that there are this many OBVIOUS biased judges for Canelo, there are probably less biased ones for him too, including the judges who had him beating Lara and Glolovkin 7-5. Good chance they came into that fight knowing who they wanted to win. Now if you're being generous you COULD find 7 rounds for those guys, but when 1 of the 3 is so obviously biased it then begs the question are the 7-5 judges being biased too? That is why we don't like Canelo Alvarez. He's a beneficiary of boxing corruption in the modern age unlike anyone else in the sport of boxing. Today. In the sport of boxing.
You could find 6 or 7 rounds for Canelo in any of those fights. However, and here is the real point here. You can't argue that in these fights you have fair and unbiased scoring when 1 of the 3 judges is always turning in absolutely ridiculous scorecards like this. You just can't. Canelo opponents never get a fair shake, and why would they ever feel confident they'd get a fair shake. It's a fact that 1 judge is always biased for him and NEVER his opponent. How do you know the other judges aren't biased towards him either?

The point is Canelo has not robbed people "many times." That is obviously bullcrap.

When you consistently get scorecards like "119-109" in close competitive fights it's obvious the fix is in. I just don't believe it's a coincidence. If it had just been that one idiot judge who scored the trout fight like 10-2 for Canelo I would say it's a conincidence. But this happens every time Canelo faces a good challenge.

Canelo is leagues better than he was in the Lara fight.
stupid to look at that fight to predict this one.
And has better drugs and better bought judges! I am 100% agreeing with you.
The claim was that Canelo had won by robbery "so many times." That was obviously false.
Turns out we're only talking about Golovkin and Lara...in close fights where it's reasonable to say that the judges rendered the correct decision.
