No one is pointing a gun on this guy's head,
yet he keeps re-signing with the Bobfather.
Anyone asked Bomac, who is actually the one making
decisions for Terence, why he won't go with PBC?
I'm not getting it.
So what's the real answer? Why can't Crawford just let it all hang out and become free as a bird?
Why put shackles in your neck when you know it's causing you pain and impediment when it comes to getting big fights?
You're mixing up what we know he MUST DO (accept B-Side/sign with PBC) vs. what he might as well do (since we saw he won't do what he must do).
In other words...he's already spoken out and gave clear instruction he won't accept B-Side; he won't accept less than 60% (which he doesn't deserve), he won't step up and fight threats (Porter, Thurman, Garcia). SO he won't do what he must do to get Spence.
Okay.
I'm saying, let's let that ship sail and move on to his other options.
Which in my mind is go up to 154 and become a 4-division champion. Take whatever L eventually comes - likely from Jermell - then people can stop talking about Spence/Crawford.
Not because people don't want to see it, but because BY CRAWFORD'S OWN WORDS, that fight will never happen.
Because he's not willing to do what's necessary to make it happen.
Get it?
In other words, it's only Crawford that needs the fight.
Spence can move on without Bud in his resume.
Nothing for Truth to gain, it's all Crawford's. I see.
If that is the case, then we need to stop talking about this fight.
It takes two to tango. Only one is required to make efforts. I see.
Fans need to move on.
Why would he?
That would mean he'd have to do his own promotion, and he's already on record saying he doesn't think he should have to. It's a bad match.
He should just sign with Don King and be done with it. King will guarantee him whatever he wants.
I don't understand doe.
Everyone is saying, including you, that he needs to join PBC
so he can have easy access to these Haymon fighters.
He's been blamed for re-signing with Arum.
And now you're asking, "Why would he?" SMH...
Make up your minds doe.
Oh I agree Bob would and is currently doing the same thing, just look at 135 and 140. He has had reign over the championship belts in those divisions for some time now and he rarely makes fights that are not in house with his top guys. For some reason people only get mad at PBC for doing the same thing every other promotion does, the reasons for why are obvious I won't even say them out loud.
154 has a three belt champ bro. 154 has had the most fights amongst top ranked guys in recent memory. It is one of the few divisions above 130 that actually moves properly. It is also why most of them at least have 1 loss. They are all actually challenged and have been challenged.
You’re another special needs individual. Your initial post is you whining “TR is preventing all these good fights at 140 and 135 for in-house fights, woe is me!”
I ask you what are these fights that need to happen at 140 and 135 and give recent examples of TR having unifications and #1 vs #1 fights in those division (that are not in-house) and you should remember 2020 was a highly inactive year for everyone and everything boxing. Yet what you come back to me talking about all these in-house fights PBc has going on and how awesome that 154lb division is (it’s a bunch fo C-class fighters there bro).
Here’s a question. Do you think if Ramirez was with PBC they would have taken the fight vs Hooker without Hooker being under their banner too? Lomachenko’s fight just before Lopez (which btw, is what everyone was asking for) was vs Luke Campbell, is Campbell promoted by TR? But because Lomachenko vs Lopez just happened you’re already claiming an in-house galore?
one of the biggest and most delusional idiots going
youve got two examples youve used...but wont acknowledge the pbc doing the same things...all the promotions do them....they do them when theres little risk involved to them
but youre the same idiot that said "well canelo/liam smith did well...and crawford/benavidez sold tix" in comparison to danny/spence...lol..."i must be missing something"....clown
They’re examples, i’m not about to make some comprehensive list of every occasion that has occurred. I’ve posted more in the past if that’s what you want. If you want to argue it post your own counter’s. Lomachenko moving straight up to fight Linares is a risk TR was taking vs GBP. Ramirez fighting another undefeated champion for unification vs Hooker was another risk for TR and DAZN. Lomachenko vs Tank Davis would have been a risk for both as two prime top fighter’s facing off for TR vs PBC. Joshua vs Wilder would have been a risk for both as two prime top fighters facing off for Matchroom vs PBC. Same reason Wilder didn’t fight Joshua, Tank, didn’t fight Lomachenko, Spence hasn’t fought Crawford, and Charlo hasn’t fought Teixiera. Nothing to do with TR. the common denominator is PBC.
The PBC “examples” are sad examples for in denial fanboys who like to use occasions like Ruiz vs Joshua or Fury vs Wilder etc. PBC’s list of actual good fights and risks taken between PBC and other companies are much rarer than for anyone else, but those very few are apparently enough to fool the 16yr old, momma basement dweller’s like yourself. It’s cool that in all the years PBC has been established there are some two, maybe three examples where legitimately great fights have been made with outside organisations, willingly (/sarcasm, obviously, it’s a sad rarity).
I’ve never said no one else does it or has done it neither, which is why I said “usually”. The main culprit’s right now, 9 times out of 10, for the past few years, has been PBC. Stop projecting your teen angst.
The hate against this man is unlike anything I have ever seen in my life. Everyone hates Bud it seems, the Top Rank fanboys who are jealous that he's better than Loma, the PBC fanboys who are jealous that he's a p4p elite and none of their favorite fighters are, the racists, the Canelo fanboys who are jealous that he's a threat to their precious #1 p4p. It's the craziest thing I have ever seen.
Arum overpaid Crawford to stay. Crawford made the smart decision by staying.
Arum is tired of losing money on Crawford and won't overpay him to stay this time. Crawford will make the smart decision and leave.
Perfectly summed up. Crawford is also professional enough not to speak ill of his employer that he is under contract with.
Ramirez just unified with Hooker at 140 in 2019. Lomachenko got his first title at 135 vs Linares just a year prior. What are these other fights that should happen but arent? Fights not happening usually involves a PBC fighter (heavyweights and 154 for example, no point in mentioning Davis ducking Loma at this point).

i hear you...my thing for the last few months has been this...
if bob had al haymons 147 stable and al just had crawford bob would be doing the same thing.....al can make ugas/spence and thurman vs tba and set that up...or he can make ugas/thurman and spence vs tba and set that up.....he can freeze bud out another year or 1.5....and if spence comes away with 3 belts and nother successful ppv under his belt hes going to take at least 60 percent of a crawford fight easily......spence aint really in a rush.....spence vs thurman is still a viable fight if they can get thurman back and looking good in his next fight....

I can see the point about Crawford vs Porter or Danny not selling on PPV, but this myth that Crawford vs Thurman wouldn't sell on PPV needs to stop. Thurman is much more popular fighter than Crawford and he clearly brought some PPVs to his fight with Pac since it sold more than Pac-Broner. Everyone who I have asked about this fight said they would be interested and tune in. Thurman just may beat Crawford and it isn't as big of a money fight as a Spence fight which is why he don't want to do it.

i believe bud would fight thurman, porter, danny....but it all comes back to bob and what bob can afford...none of those fights are ppv cross promo fights....bob would have to bring one of them over to espn for a fight....its a gamble still even if you think bud beats them all...its a monetary gamble because they arent cheap and arent coming at a discount to go over to another network/outfit

If you read what he says in interviews regarding fighting the best WWs, you can tell he is clearly happy not to fight them. Why would he? Look at his purses for fighting non top 10 ranked WWs like Khan and Brook. And he looks good while earning good money. This means journalists will look at his career as a HOF career despite not beating anyone of note since Viktor Postol. He’s got it made and is content with the money. He clearly obviously cares only about the money.
People love mentioning Floyd’s love for money and how he never took risks, yet he has a ton of top 10 P4P fighters, top 10 fighters of whatever weight class he’s been in, #1 ranked fighters, champions. Floyd boasts about his love for money and not taking too much punishment while also having one of the best resumes of his era.
Bob has created an illusion that he is the best p4p fighter without actually not fighting a top WW and getting him paid in the process.
At one point in time he was scheduled to fight Collazo and they got so much flak they had to scrap that fight.
