So what does everyone think of Boots Ennis fighting Ugas next or even Garcia? Wheres boots at level wise in the totem pole of top young fighters;& where does he stand as the next "it" Black fighter/star in training? And most importantly is he prepared to go against the big dogs like Garcia(whos A level vs stationary fighters) & Ugas who on his day with right matchup style is A level? Hes in the same division as Ortiz & is 1 year older ,so is he going to potentially become rival's with Ortiz like Floyd Pac as rival heirs to the WW throne?
We know Hooker is next for Ortiz & hes going to want blood after getting kod in his 1st unification bout,so if Ortiz kos him it will still be a pretty decent win imho Because Hooker is 5'11" & likely will bring power up with him to ww.(I think he was having trouble making 140)
I think Boots needs a Ugas fight although I agree it doesnt get made. I believe Boots beats Ugas from pillar to post though. I think Jamal James is the fight he has to have to get recognition in the division and then there will skeptics over it. I think Vergil Ortiz will eventually be the fight to make between the 2 fighters but that's further in the future than we all need to look.
With Boots I see a talent that's rarely ever seen in the sport and a future global star if he ever gets the chance. The problem is it doesnt look like he gets promoted the way he should or gets the fights I believe he wins when on paper he should lose. Next level talent Boots is IMO
Love the Hooker-Ortiz fight though I'm skeptical it actually gets made
Boots needs to fight. I'd love an Ugas fight but I doubt Ugas does that. So maybe fight Rashidi Ellis, Sergey Lipinets, Custio Clayton
