Networks having old fights

I always assumed the commentary was done after the fight.

I’m just curious if anyone knows but DAZN has a bunch of old fights, showtime had a bunch of mayweather fights that were on HBO etc the question is...........are these announcers live and were just used as radio calls or national streams etc or do these guys sit down and call the fights after they are done pretending they are watching it live cause of license purposes. I’ve always wondered Great question! I've been noticing this over the years, especially in my days of downloading fights back in the day and still some today. I believe there are several announce teams from different networks covering the fights but I guess it comes down to who has the licensing to broadcast the fight. I notice it when I watch Showtime bouts and see the Latino analysts being shouted out at the beginning of the telecast. I hear Bob Sheridan's voice over a lot of old Floyd fights so I need to see what station he calls fights from.
