Joshua is the more proven fighter, beating top opposition consistently. Wlad was mentally not there in the Fury fight and Wilder while dangerous isn't anywhere near the top in actual boxing ability. So Fury is more proven at the very high level, which is why he is favourite. All AJ has proven is he can beat a Fury leftover and some 40 year olds and B level fighters. Wilder was only favourite because the jury was still out on Fury after 3 years out of the game. Now Fury is rated number 1 in every list going, firmly back where he left off in 2015, at the top. Now everyone knows Fury is really back, he’s the favourite and ranked no.1 by every publication too. The bookies no longer have those question marks over Fury, which is why he’s favourite Simply put, he’s the superior fighter and AJ will find it out if he finally steps in with a fighter considered the best, which he has yet to do.
