Seriously, Fury is several levels above him.
I’m not even excited for the fight. I’m excited for the event etc. But it’ll be basically a formality that Fury does a job on him. They’re levels apart.
AJ is too basic
Fury didn’t stop Wilder at all. His TKO is off the back of the towel being thrown in. It wasn’t an actual TKO stoppage.
It was a corner stoppage bro.. and the ref was right there ready to stop it too.
And if they hadnt he was on his way to a ko. Wilder was done that fight
Fury won't be able to maul Joshua the way he did Wilder in the rematch. Joshua can punish you on the way in, while Wilder always needed to be on the front foot at distance.
Joshua won't be able to outbox Fury at range. Although he could be happy to be out jabbed and wait for his moment.
I think it's a fight where you forget what they've done before. Both fighters have now shown they can make adjustments, and both will need to make adjustments for this fight. They haven't fought anyone like each other before.
I've always thought Joshua is kryptonite for Fury, simply because over 12 rounds Joshua will get to him at some point. Boxer/puncher beats boxer. But Fury is a hell of a boxer and you know he can lift for the big fights.
I figure it's a pick em kind of fight. Someone will make the change that makes the difference.
I dont know all the ins and outs of Fury running from fights as I came to the fight game late after being a massive football fan as a child/youth. But Fury early on his career had people ducking him due to his size/ability.
Most fight fans me included dont want to see Fury/Wilder 3 at this moment. I feel though Fury wants it against Anthony Joshua. The money/legacy. Look at the way he came back from that knockdown against Wilder in the first fight. He had "cojones " as they say in Spanish.
Let's all be hopeful.
You can't know that for certain, we can only hope he takes the fight. He has a record of abandoning fights, hez about to do so with wilder 3. He won't just change over night because its AJ.I dont know all the ins and outs of Fury running from fights as I came to the fight game late after being a massive football fan as a child/youth. I dont feel he ran away from the rematch though against Wladimir Kiltschko. Ive a feeling Fury would have beaten him in the 2nd fight. From what I read on Furys autobiography and other sources is after Fury had achieved all he set out to do that's when the problems started to occur. Hence becoming the champion after beating Wladimir Fury felt unfulfilled and went on a downward spiral. This is typical of bipolar that cause people to have massive highs and then lows .
I feel Fury has turned a corner now though and accredits his boxing training/children as a huge part to his recovery.
I think though Fury is no coward and will fight Johsua.

I don't have any issue with your personal opinion, we are all entitled to it but saying fury is bipolar is just a way to created an excuse from running away from wlad rematch and never had a defence as a champ.
There is no assurance that fury will fight AJ despite clout chasing on IG.I dont feel he ran away from the rematch though against Wladimir Kiltschko. I thought that Fury v AJ would go the same way as Fury v Wilder 2, but I'm not so sure of that now. I think Joshua has a lot more to his game than Wilder now, and as such I think he's got a better chance than Wilder. There are things that Joshua is better at - I think that Fury's size actually works against him when it comes to his punching technique - he can slug when he sits down on his punches, and he can flick with his jab, but there's not a great deal of snap on his shots and he's not really a very precise or fluid puncher. It's not really his fault, his arms are longer and heavier than most people's legs, but its still a fact that his handspeed and accuracy aren't all that impressive compared to the rest of his attributes. Joshua by contrast is more precise, varied, faster, heavier and fluid with his punches all around - Joshua's going to be very dangerous even for Fury if he can establish the right distance and work. I still think that Fury has the most advantages though and is right to be a heavy favourite, the mixture of size, reach, footwork and ring IQ that Fury has presents a mountain for Joshua to climb. Joshua needs a very good gameplan perfectly executed and probably a fair bit of luck if he's going to win if I'm being entirely honest.
Fury has bipolar though so deserves some sympathy.
forPersonally I want Fury for to win though as I prefer him as a person to Joshua.

i think fury wins but i think joshua will do quite well in the fight, he will bite down on his gumshield and give it a good go i would say
fury most likely makes it quite a tactical fight, much more so than the public will want to see, UD12 at the end with fury winning 8
Pulev is old and his last big win was in 2016 against Chisora. Being a mandatory means nothing in boxing. Ruiz made A.J gun shy. Of course he can knock out Fury if he hits him but he will have to mix it up and risk getting tagged. Fury by late stoppage or decision!
I think Fury beats AJ.
AJ can't box him like he did Ruiz. He also isn't tough enough to out brawl Fury either. Fury really has a dog in him and Ruiz showed the world that AJ can't take a punch.
So, it depends on how Fury shows up imo. I'm no fan of Fury either but he prefers to box and move. So AJ can't try to point fight him and if AJ tries to bring the power, Fury is a dog. He mauled Wilder in that second fight. Nothing short of a mauling. So, I can't see AJ beating him up in a phone booth either.
If AJ wins, fair enough. But my money would be on Fury in that fight.
He stopped wilder.. and was prolly on his way to ko him had the corner and ref not stepped in..
He beat klitchko before joshua and basically beat wilder every round except the 12th of their first fight.. so what are you talking about lol
Hes fought two of the 3 better heavyweights In the last what..? 10 years?
Well he was out of commission for a long while..
But yes his style is a nightmare. I like AJ a lot, he seems like a solid fighter but dude has no quit. Hes been willing to fight even after massive kds and fight well. I just dont see how he could handle a guy fury size with his skill level

I don’t go on performances based on when fighters were basically at the start of their career. Some great fighters had bad losses and close fights.
I’m talking about boxing ability in the here and now. I’m just don’t see any trouble for a fury in this fight. I’ve explained why in more depth in plenty of posts in the past and last night never changed that.
For me it’s about the certainty and conviction of your claims.
I agree Fury SHOULD win, but he’s not fighting some journeyman where it’s a 1/100,000 chance. There is a real risk Fury could be beaten.
So yes it’s likely but you can’t talk down about people who believe AJ has a chance because he does
So you would rate McDermott above AJ? Because he managed to beat Fury!?
Regardless of ‘boxing knowledge’ no one knows how it goes.
On paper Fury has the edge ans should win, but AJ has a real chance.

All those fighters are garbage, inlcuding AJ
How can you say they are garbage? Yoka is widely regarded and the best prospect in world boxing?
You might say they are overrated but you can say they are garbage!
I’d love to see how Joshua is going to land combinations on Fury when Joshua barely even throw single shots without setting his feet and setting himself.
Do you think Fury has the best distance control in the division and longest reach is going to stand there and let Joshua unload combinations? :lol1:
Jesus, the lack of boxing knowledge from most people on here is astounding

You’re not excited because once Fury loses to A.J most on here are done because they then have to talk about other skilled boxers .
The second wave of fighters will be even better who come at A.J ......Joyce, Hrgovic, Usyk, Sirenko , Yoka , Mahkmudov etc...
I bet Fury doesn’t fight any of these guy ? I’d even settle for Wallin rematch.
All those fighters are garbage, inlcuding AJ
unless something unpredictable happens, Fury'd win easy. You don't need to be an expert to know that. In boxing like in many other disciplines, there are levels...Fury is several levels above.
