Years ago GGG said he was willing to go down to 154, but only for Floyd.
How would GGG vs Floyd have turned out if it had happened?
Would Golovkin have been too strong for Mayweather, or would he have been too drained at that weight?
Stylistically how would it have played out?
golovking being able too make 154 was just talk...
ggg loses this one at the scale...
Huh? He rehydrates to 168.
It would have been a great match up. GGG has a fine jab, and IMO would not respect Mayweather's power.
The question would then become, how good is Mayweather's chin.
Its why i rate Canelo so highly he has taken risks that Floyd and GGG would never take.
Floyd fought in 5 divisons. Dont ever mention ggg and floyd in tbe same sentence.
GGG would have beat him, pretty easy in prime. look at what maidana did (who wouldnt last 3 rounds with prime GGG). floyd never fancied the job, he decided to close his career out against berto mcgregor and now hes fighting youtubers. he slagged off GGG like a little ***** but when it came to it he simply didnt want to make the fight, he thought berto was a better option and was prepared to fight him for a lot less money.

Sure. That is why we have divisions.
When people say a naturally bigger man will/would beat May, it's a compliment to May to match him vs the bigger man.
Golovkin would have to chase him all night. He would walk through Floyd's punches. If he doesn't knock him out and Floyd survives, GGG probably loses a highly contested decision and it's another gift for Floyd.
Yep exactly how the fight would of went Floyd punches would of tickled GGG but he will accumulate rounds and win a UD.
May does his thing
Usually figuring his opponent out within a couple of rds and then takes over.
Nelo took away GGG's right hand
May takes everything away.
GGG would likely be a compromised fighter at 154 and I doubt he would accept at that weight even if it were presented to him. He's never been a take on all comers fighters like he was hyped, he weighs his options carefully and prefers staying in his comfort zone even if it means fighting scrubs. Bear in mind, he previously shot down a legacy fight with Ward citing weight issues (and moving up is easier than moving down) and refused the Canelo rematch until Golden Boy salvaged it after it was all but dead, and Floyd obviously wouldn't pay him anywhere close to that kind of money.

GG back in 2013 was a vastly different animal. He was fearless. He'd walk through everything Floyd threw, stalk him, and destroy him. One of the reasons why I was OK with that fight never happening. Floyd was too small.
- -That why TBE TUE ducked GGG is it?
Aw, heck, I'd beat both at the same time inside a minute.
See how easy that is!!!
So every guy that doesnt get a massive fight who you think should is a duck, unless its Manny GGG off course, now Manny not fighting GGG that wouldnt be a duck but Floyd would be.
Youre so plastic and hollow, you got too much hate to have a clue thats anywhere near accurate.
If he's healthy enough with the weight drain, GGG's jab causes Floyd all types of problems.
GGGs boxing has no chance of beating Floyd skill wise Floyd would wash him, GGGs size and power has every chance of beating Floyd, 154 hmmmmmm Id have a bet at the right odds.
At 154 I think GGG would have drained to fck, he talked that he could do it but so did Oscar fighting Manny, they dont test a weight they think they can make, I really think GGG would have been drained and Floyd winning a wide UD.

- -Woulda played out TBE TUE running squallin' fer daddy.
Coulda challenged Canelo at 155 but ducked that to. Making easy $ fighting Berto, Guerrero, loony Vic with Bayliss/Cortez protecting him, so no need.
