I'm not a hater so won't say it's impossible.
But the fact is.... He super green and from the looks of those sparring videos, not getting good enough experience to have any chance
I can't tell how far he is going to go yet, and I wanted to hate him as I'm not a fan of YouTube celebs generally, but I like the guy. Good personality, confident and he's really giving boxing a proper go by the sound of things, so I respect him for his efforts, even if he ends up coming up short, and like has been mentioned among these posts, he'd crush 99% of normal guys of similar size (not including pro fighters of any form)
If Jake Paul moves up to Bridgerweight he'd already be a contender as we speak.
opposite. All of the current 200 pound Cruisers are now Bridgerweights and theres now this weird class for guys who weigh 190lbs.
I checked boxrec and he is ranked 730th out of 1281 cruiserweights for KOiing a two guy who never fought before. Let's see how he does when and IF he ever fights a cruiserweight pro boxer who has won more fights than he has lost. If he continues to fight little old retired basketball players and non boxers he will remain undefeated.
Not at all
He’s very good in terms of the YouTube and celeb boxing though. Surprisingly measured, coordinated and good punch selection. Impressive really for someone who isn’t a boxer. He takes what he practices into the ring when the fight starts, which pretty much none of the others do. That’s the hardest thing to do when you’re not an actual boxer.
He would wreck pretty much every poster on here. But he would obviously get smashed to bits by real fighters.
Honestly though, If I was a celebrity or someone from another sport calling him out and underestimating him because he’s just a YouTube nerd, I’d think again. He will smash a lot of people up in the celebrity boxing field.
Based on what yall seen in his last 3 fights ?
Not based on what we have seen, I find it highly unlikely but anything is possible!
He would need a good 3-5 years solid training before he even looks at area title level!
In my opinion absolutely not. There are about 1400 pro cruiserweight boxers in the world and boxrec ranks all of them. He can't fight much and shows no big potential for getting much better. I think will never go higher than number 800 so over half of the world's cruiserweights will be ranked above him. He is just an over payed joke of a pro fighter who's fan base is not serious boxing fans.

I imagine that anything's possible but I would need to see WAY more from him.
Let's see what he does against a journeyman who actually boxes for a living instead of a fellow Youtuber or a retired basketball player.
Maybe the WBC cruserweight division where there are currently zero fighters campaigning. I doubt ANY current cruiserweight will be able to cut an additional ten pounds.
