Almost every time someone gets drunk and gets thrown out of their car, they’re dead and being picked up in pieces.
Spence is a walking miracle in my opinion.
If he beats DSG tonight, a GREAT fighter in his own right, then he has the greatest boxing comeback story in our lifetimes, perhaps in history.
They will have to make a book and a movie about it.
Danny Garcia beats those guys you mentioned.. Danny has no clear losses. both controversial.
at 140 Danny had a more impressive resume than Crawford..
A welterweight beats a featherweight, no sh**. :lol1:
Danny is nowhere near Pep’s level though. Nowhere near. Pep’s a legit ATG, easily could be top 10 all time IMO.
Both Thurman and Porter beat him. If you argue he could have won then you could equally argue he should have 4 losses as both his fights with Peterson and Herrera were very close. I like Danny but what’s his best win at 147? Guerrero? He ain’t really done that much at Welterweight.
Danny had a fantastic run at 140. So did Crawford tbf. Danny beat better fighters but Crawford cleaned out the division. Both great runs. What’s Crawford have to do with this though?
Spence Jr accident is a great Promotional Tool but lets be honest that Accident wasn't worse (as far as injuries suffered) than Vinny Paz accident in which he had to work his way back from a BROKEN NECK! It for sure wasn't worse than Edwin Valero Motorcycle Accident in which he had to work his way back from a Fractured Skull And Surgery to remove Blood Clot from his head.
Lucky for Spence he did not suffer any Broken Bones, Torn Ligaments that we know of or any of that. Just what Dental Damage, Scratches and some soreness for a few months? :dunno:
Good Luck to Spence Jr, that Accident could've ended badly. He looks in Phenomenal Shape and completely focused but we shall see how he looks in that ring tonight vs Danny
70 cab drivers. who he faced in his first fight after? Danny is better than that guy
Cab drivers? Just stop... :lol1:
You clearly know very little about Pep’s career.
Google search Sandy Sadler. Pep beat him 2 years after the accident regaining the world featherweight title.
Paddy De Marco was one of the seventy. Future world lightweight champion. So was Chalky Wright, Hall of Famer. There’s also Manuel Ortiz, Leslie, Wilson. I can’t believe you’re actually questioning Pep’s resume. :lol1:
Danny ain’t no killer at 147 either. It’s a bold risk from Spence but let’s not forget Danny is 1-2 in title fights at 147. He ain’t the same force he was at 140. He’s just been 12 with Redkach...
I don't think neither is a big deal. Spence just did what he was supposed to do. Take care of himself and heal up and then train hard. Nothing miraculous about that to me. He never lost a fight in the ring so why wouldn't a determined young boxer come back stronger than ever? What ever Fury had to come back from he did to himself. It's hard to feel sorry for a guy who is so depressed because he is a heavyweight champion worth many millions and a hero to his countrymen. Poor sad Fury. It is his own fault he had anything to come back from. I am glad he got his sh it together and is living a better smarter life and life style.
How is it Fury did it to himself? (Other than the weight gain) Also you say it’s hard to feels sorry for someone who has everything but is depressed? Surely that’s the nature of and truest form of genuine depression?
Clearly don’t understand mental ill health

Lmao thanks for the joke
I haven't followed the build up to the fight, but judging from the headlines on boxingscene, I get the feeling that the promoters are not really pushing this angle of the miraculous heroic comeback by Spence. Step back and think about it, Fury's problems were, if you believe him, due to mental illness, something almost everyone can relate to and thus sympathetic. Spence was a drunk and not only put himself in danger but seriously could've killed people, nothing heroic about that, it's criminal!
It is because Spence Junior has not banged on about his issues.
What Tyson Fury achieved was great, but is he really the first boxer to suffer from such issues? Do people think Mike Tyson was not in a dark place when he was sent to jail? Also David Haye was told by a doctor that he would never fight again, it was a great achievement for him to step back in the ring during the latter part of his career etc
If Spence does win i would not be at all surprised if he went out and celebrated by doing exactly the same thing. He said he learned a lesson and appreciates his second chance when he could easily be dead. I guess you don't believe him but I do. I doubt he will do anymore reckless drunk driving.

Hmmm. I guess I spoke too soon. Still think it’s a better comeback than Fury though (and I have slowly become a fan of Fury even though I am not from the UK or Gypsy).
Greatest comeback of all time GTFOH. :lol1:
Vinny Paz, Muhammad Ali, George Foreman and forget a car crash Willie Pep came back from a plane crash and went on a 70+ fight undefeated streak!
Spence took a far bigger blow than any fighter getting KTFO. Either he's crazy or truly built different if he's able to return to form after that brutal accident.

what about vinne paz coming back from wearing a HALO
Close. Lets see ejected from ferrari life saved by not wearing seatbelt how coincidental. Fury so called had a melt down was on cocaine and steroids or atleast PED. Fury came back 2 tune up fights before wilder. Spence coming back no tune up fight. If spence beats this quality opponent in style i give it to spence. For no tune up fight broken bones ect shouldve died is bigger comeback. The best comeback ever of last 10 yrs is miracle man jacobs to comeback that type of deadly cancer and still fight at championship level for several yrs.
