Not many people will know how to Ice Skate correctly 'And it will take years to learn some of the skills needed to compete' It is not quite the same with boxing. Innately humans are violent. Sports such as Boxing, Track and Field Athletics are fundamental sports which are apart of human nature 'They are primordial activities'. Long before the NBA was created or soccer leagues around the world where established 'The only sports that existed where Boxing, in the form of prize fighting and Athletics which? Was also called 'pedestrianism' in some parts of Europe pre-industrial revolution or just after that period. Boxing is a not a elitist sport, without explanation it is one of the most naturally understood sports in the world 'Everyone pretty much has been in a real fight, whether that be on the playground or on the streets'. If two people want to fight inside a boxing ring? So be it, let them do just that. OK ya but there's a difference between two boneheads swinging and a well technical fight and or brawl .I'm sure it takes time to box at an elite level .a great boxer will beat the ish outta anybody but once they're matched up with someone of equal or greater skills than I day that's what you call an elite status fight .

Fans are going to pay for what they want to watch. Tyson vs Jones had zero effect on why Crawford vs Khan sold 150k buys. Jake Paul's over 20 million subscribers wouldn't miraculously become Oleksandr Usyk fans. Boxing has always been about promoting and the truth is most pro boxers suck at it.

Thats cause no one cares about boxing. Its a niche sport that barley has any superstars. Even NSB is dead. Remember how active these forums were with the Pac/Mayweather days all the way up to GGG rise. People might show up when some big fight gets made but that's it. Every year this community get less and less active.

I say anything that bring positive attention to the sport and increased interest, can only be a good thing. The sporting world knows these fights are what they are, we know they are what they are, and anyone who takes a true interest eventually knows it too. Its selling our sport to the world, bringing young new fans in, revenue, talent throughout the industry as it grows and maybe even potentail new prospects that may never of considerd boxing before. Yeah the fights are jokes, but sometimes they can be fun or nostalgic. Take it for what it is. The only thing I worry about is in the senior side of things and the old fellas healths, but if they get a docs approval, then why not.
