Boxing has always been about promoting and the truth is most pro boxers suck at it.
Thats cause no one cares about boxing. Its a niche sport that barley has any superstars. Even NSB is dead. Remember how active these forums were with the Pac/Mayweather days all the way up to GGG rise. People might show up when some big fight gets made but that's it. Every year this community get less and less active.
I say anything that bring positive attention to the sport and increased interest, can only be a good thing. The sporting world knows these fights are what they are, we know they are what they are, and anyone who takes a true interest eventually knows it too.
Its selling our sport to the world, bringing young new fans in, revenue, talent throughout the industry as it grows and maybe even potentail new prospects that may never of considerd boxing before.
