Just like I asked before the Davis/LSC fight, same question here. So just for those living stateside that can purchase the PPV.
We can revisit the thread after the buy rate is revealed and see the correlation between hardcore fans and PPVs.
The usual suspects are not in this thread.
I thought they like supporting their uncle no matter what.
Strangers from far away land are more willing.
What usual suspects?
Of course, but doesn't mean he's not a global icon. Non-boxing fans around the world may not be able to list any current boxer but they will know Tyson. He's not Ali level or anything but still the biggest name even after retiring over 15 years ago.
And there's the factor of nostalgia here as those that watched Tyson in the 80s and 90s wanted to see how he would look.
Spence vs Garcia is a good fight but those two combined aren't in the same stratosphere as Tyson.
So much for quality.
Yes of course i support Boxing whenever i can i brought Jones vs Tyson but for some reason Spence vs Garcia is not available in Sydney.
So i will be going to my local pub to watch it.
Nope. I quit drinking a few months ago and most ppvs I impulsively buy after a few beers. I just can’t justify 75$ for one fight. It was one thing when I was younger and buddies would come watch with me but most of my friends are married with kids and they don’t get to leave the house much. Maybe I’m just poorer than I like to admit.
First off congrats on being sober!
Honestly you are not alone. A lot of folks paid for PPVs with friends coming over and others pitching in.
Yeah but I'm not seeing an option to buy it on my PS5 or Xbox??? Wtf???
I can't even see an option on VUDU or Prime??
I dont want to watch it on some sht computer.
You should be able to purchase it off your PS5. Can you download the FoxSports app?

What if any PPVs have you bought in recent years? Let's say Spence is to come through tonight and face off against Crawford, would you buy that PPV?
Big fights mostly. Canelo fights, Cotto, Mayweather, Paqcuiao, etc.
Even bought Crawford vs Amir effing Khan.
Yes, I would buy Crawford vs Spence,
split the cost with brothers and some friends.
The usual suspects who advocate for fighters getting paid large sums
are not even willing to give their fair share. It's not even charity.
It's paying for fights you want to watch, so these fighters get paid for
what you want them to get paid. You give and you take.
Charity is giving without taking.
Me I don't advocate for such crap. I'm no hypocrite.

What has he done, boxing wise, in the last 20 years or so ?

Yes. Spence/Garcia is an intriguing match up. Just wish Terence Crawford would fight the winner. Also the co main event is Sebastian Fundora vs. Habib Ahmed. About a year ago I sparred Habib Ahmed a few times. It definitely makes a card a lot more fun when you know someone on it. Can’t wait and I hope Habib can get that win

Tyson vs RJJ was only $49.99 and came with extra entertainment value with Nate Robinson vs Jake Paul and the music performances.
I refuse to pay $74.99 for just one fight on a crap undercard.
Take away the 4 and one of the 9s and I might have bought it (doubtful).
I will gladly support fights that count.
