If you had to match Dubois for his next five fights who would they be against and why?
1. Kash Ali. Will come to win but is a level below Dubois, should be a routine KO victory that will restore some confidence.
2. Andiry Rudenko. Very durable but not exactly dangerous, would give him rounds.
3. Mariusz Wach. Would give him more experience with dealing with size, also durable and would give him rounds.
4. Christian Hammer. Would m make it ugly and make Dubois have to work for however long it lasts.
5. Robert Helenius. Solid European level HW with a solid 1-2, decent power and has physical tools. This would be the acid test.
Been saying for a while that I wouldn’t be surprised if BT were the ones pushing for this fight.
Let’s be real, their stable is not deep, they’re in need of big fights.
For all Frank Warren’s faults, he’s got a good track record in his career of building fighters correctly and rarely rushes anybody.
He either seriously misjudged Dubois ability, or he has pressure from BT to deliver big fights. They’re the main rivals to sky, they didn’t give Warren a contract to receive area level title fights.
Frank didn’t want to take it. He didn’t even want the Gorman fight but Dubois refused to be withdrawn from the purse bids.
You’re probably right about BT, they were trying to rush Dubois into becoming a PPV attraction and it’s massively backfired.
Good suggestions above yet Frank had the absolute front to suggest a rematch. You’d think he’d already done enough to destroy the boys career - what an odious ****er he is.

1. Arnold Gjergjaj. Easy touch. Gjergjaj will fold up easy.
2. Lucas Browne. Has name recognition and an easy touch.
3. Alexander Ustinov. Another easy touch but a big guy who will eventually fold
4. Andriy Rudenko. Will give Dubois tough rounds. Durable enough to go the distance and would try to win.
5. Mariusz Wach. Same as Rudenko. After these 5 he should be back in the mix.
Love to see the Cobra getting a payday. :lol1:
Ustinov is a good shout.

That's a quality schedule. I like it once he's in with somebody who can punch I kinda worry about whether or not his face can hold up or if he ends up in a Kell Brook type situation.
He’s talented and very young for a heavyweight. If I were him I wouldn’t be looking to fight the top guys for 2-3 years.
Get back in the gym and improve. In 6-8 fights time try again.
Hammer would be good. He generally gives fighters rounds and doesn’t often get stopped. Usually gives a bit back as well, so that will probably be a decent fight in a fight or two.
All good suggestions there really.
I think they’re in a bit of a tough spot with him now because obviously he will come back again with a knock over job, which is fine, but after that they’ve still got to probably give him someone at least semi decent, because they built him up so much that now if he goes back to just fighting awful fighters, it’s going to look like they have absolutely no confidence in him.
That’s kind of the problem with rushing a fighter like that. once they lose, you can’t really take too many steps backwards. It would look like you no longer have faith in them to be able to beat anyone decent.
Yeah I agree. Frank has a very tough job on his hands. He’s basically been built as the face of BT boxing so they can’t just put him on undercards in 8 rounders. They need to restore his confidence ASAP, then after that I’d like to see him tested a little and the keep stepping it up fight by fight.
Dubois should stay away from Helenius that could end up being a disaster in his comeback fight. I can see Helenius spark him. Dubois beats the rest, Wach would be a good and safe opponent. He'd most likely not KO him, so Wach would definitely give him rounds.
That’s why I put him as the 5th fight, it would be his acid test to see whether he can step up to European level.
