Pretty unbelievable, that. If he wins I figure it will be right around then
I favour Dubois to win but I’m also surprised how big the odds on Joyce are. He’s definitely good value if you’re picking rounds.
I am so back & forth on this, I've changed my mind so many times.
No result would surprise me outside of maybe Joyce getting an early K.O win
I hate to sit on the fence but regardless who I pick in this one I'll just keep changing my mind :D Which is never a bad thing, boxing needs fights like this.
Most definitely! Who do you want to win ?

Yeah I'm very excited for this, I'm picking Joyce but not confidently, Dubois is probably my favorite prospect but Joyce is too experienced In my eyes, Frank Warren is not matchmaking these guys correctly, Yarde had he had proper matchmaking he would have beat Kovalev in that night, but lack of experience was his downfall
Tbf that was Tunde Ajayi driving Yarde down that route. Warren wanted to put him in domestic fights with guys like Buglioni but that fraud Tunde was chasing the £ signs.
At least Dubois has gone the more traditional route. Southern Area, English, British, Commonwealth and now European. However I do agree this is a big step up in terms of opposition.
On checking their records it seems Joyce has defeated better fighters so I take back my statement that Dubois has the better record. I still pick Dubois to win due to his better speed, skill and power. Joyce has a good chance to win due to his own great power and iron jaw and his very strong will to win and fearlessness and stamina.
normaly i dont give a damn about 2 brits fighting but looks like the fight is fixed, and i hate fixed fights, they elimininated Joyce' trainer already and ref and judges will be on Dubois side for sure, but Joyce have learned from the best like GGG and fought the best like Usyk, Jalolov, Dyhko etc so i'm leaning towards more experienced, smarter, just a better boxer overall Joyce who'll be there vs Dubois, ref, judges, commetators, media etc
I disagree with your prediction but good point about Joyce’s footwork. He’s a very athletic guy and does move well for a guy his size.
Dubois has solid footwork too though, those Pea**** fighters always move pretty well.
For me man, Dubois will land that right hand far too often and far too easy. Joyce doesn’t have good enough head or upper body movement. Dubois knocks him out IMO.
Great fight, looking forward too it.

I’ve been saying for months that Dubois is the future of the division.
That said, if Dubois can’t put a hurt on Joe early on, I think he gets walked down and stopped mid to late.
I see Joyce taking a lot of punishment but refusing to quit. Dubois will land the better shots, then start going downstairs more when he realizes that Joyce's chin is hard as a rock. The shots to the chest and ribs will knock the wind out of Joyce's lungs, and he will have almost nothing left by round 9. Danny will back him into a corner and unload a big flurry of punches forcing the referee to wave it off in round 11.
Only goes one of two ways for me, either Dubois splatters the robot inside 6. OR Joyce somehow absorbs all the bombs with no effect and drowns Dubois late on. cant ****ing wait for this fight. Im gonna go with the former.
Do you think Salas missing some of his training camp and not being there on Saturday night will have much of an impact?
Hard to say
Joyce has trained with quite a few trainers now, so I don’t think it will have as big an impact as a fighter who has a very specific trainer throughout most of their career and doesn’t have them available.
It’s probably not ideal.
But If having a trainer missing half of the camp because they’re back and forth to USA is very detrimental to Joyce, then he shouldn’t hire him. So it can’t be used as an excuse either way.
Joyce for me. I think he is deceptive and is much better when you’re in the ring with him than he looks on the outside. also his feet are much better than people realise, his hand speed might be slow but he’s really good at cutting off the ring and getting into range to land.
Also everyone says if the fight goes early then Dubois will win, but that’s totally disregarding the fact Joyce has decent power too and if he lands on Dubois early, he’s going to feel it also.
Dubois fights very correct and in straight lines and I think Joyce will have a lot of success being able to manoeuvre him and pressuring him into backing up.
I’m going Joyce by stoppage within 7.

Apparently Joe has already thrown his first jab, we’ll have to wait to Saturday night to see if it lands
:lol1: :lol1:
He throws punches like he’s under water.
Let me know what you guys think
