To hear him speak in recent interviews, you would think he didn't have a fight in a couple of weeks against a still dangerous opponent. Talking about other opponents already.
Does anyone think Spence is making easy work of Danny? Anyone giving Danny a chance at beating him?
Garcia is more hungry at this point. He got more to prove and Spence better be careful.Garcia has many more pro fights than Spence and has made many millions of dollars and is a very rich boxer. Why would he be hungrier than Spence who gives every fight a 100% effort and wants to prove he is great as much as Garcia does.
Danny is going to knock him out!As a welterweight Garcia has only KOed 2 of his 7 opponents. He is not a very hard puncher at 147 and he won't hurt the rugged Spence. He had 12 rounds to KO Porter and never fazed him. Spence beat Porter and knocked him down and Porter beat Danny so there you go. Danny gets his ass kicked.
Look at Danny's record as a welterweight. Five wins and two loses and the wins are over mediocre fighters. Danny has only 2 KO wins in those 7 fights for a weak 28 percent of his wins by KO. Danny is not a big puncher at 147.Spence has KOed 80% of the welterweights he has fought and Spence has a great chin as well. He probably is looking past Garcia because he is a much better fighter. I am sure he will be in top condition and easily beat Danny. Spence is a serious pro and has always been in shape but he must be thinking about other fights after he beats Garcia.
This is boxing, so DSG will always have a chance. With that said nobody really knows the extent of EJ's true injuries. He might be fine, or he could be limited. One thing is for sure, we will find out on December 5th.
Some of Porter's punches were snapping Spence's head back. They say Danny hits way harder than Porter so we will see when he lands a hard shot. Spence can hurt Dannys as well so one of these guys is getting stopped. Its a good fight with 2 good guys in my opinion.
Spence wouldn’t fight Danny the same way he fought Porter before or post accident.
Look for straight boxing with effective pressure and great shot selection until some of the steam comes off of Garcia’s punches.
From what last opponents have said about Spence is that he isn’t the most powerful puncher. His gift is being able to punch hard for an entire fight. It wears you down. Even if he doesn’t stop you, he discourages you.

No.
Danny hasn't been a champion since Thurman.
If anything, Danny hasn't taken his fights seriously ever since entering 147 since it's been such a disappointing run in that weight class
Looking past Danny? I don't think that's happening at all. During his media workout when they asked him about Pacquiao and Crawford, he said of course he wants to fight them but that conversation can be had after the fight.
And can Danny win? Absolutely. What if Spence's punch resistance is completely gone and Danny hurts him with every clean shot he lands? This fight has as much uncertainty as any other at the top level in recent years.
Doubt It! He knows Danny Dangerous, he doesn't bring up other fights he gets asked about them by reporters and he Answers them.
He would be stupid to look past Danny Garcia, Danny is not easy for anybody and he steps up to level of competition. Thurman, Porter...none of them had a easy time with Danny Garcia!

I give Danny a 40% chance to pull the upset since we don't know how Spence will look coming off the accident. Prior to that I would have still given him a 30% chance because Garcia has solid fundamentals, a strong chin and a booming left hook that he likes to land in exchanges.
