OK Gentlemen, just gonna copy and paste the post I made in the masterthread concerning upcoming Pick Ems, see if we can't get a bit more input about how many - and which - fights you'd like to see in the final 6 weeks of the 2020 season. Only real change I made is that I feel pretty strongly now that Joe Parker vs Junior Fa belongs in the game so you'll now see it highlighhted in green.
A scan down the Boxrec schedule for the rest of year just picking out the three star and better fights looks something like this (fights highlighted in green are the ones we'll have in for sure, the rest kinda optional)

EDIT: Also please feel free to include any other fights you might like to see in that ain't on this 3 star list such as
11/27 Demetrius Andrade vs Dusty Harrison (might get in anyway on the Jacobs Rosado card)
11/28 Badou Jack vs Blake McKernan
Now I make that 12 guaranteed fights before New Year which I'd say is plenty but as ever I'm mainly interested in seeing whjat you, the players, want to see in the game. To that end please let me know which - if any - of the fights in black you'd like to see in the Pick Em and any that get mentioned several (say 4 or 5) times will probably get in :boxing:
Personally I'd lean towards Saunders vs Murray for instance, but given that an in form Saunders should totally outclass well shot MM I ain't gonna include it unless some of the players also express an interest.
Please make your feelings know gents, let's close out 2020 with a bit of a bang.:boxing:
Sorry to hear that bruh. Better luck for the rest of the year & a great 2021.
Same to you, brother. We all desperately need a modicum of peace and improved life conditions.
My ears perked up at that fight at first til I further looked into Lartey's history. I've only known of him reallllllly with the DDD fight where he was do or die af & lasting the distance with Gorman. Both of which gave me a solid opinion him while still losing. Once I did some research I backed up off of him in this fight.
That said I did lose money on Formella today so I couldn't get up off of that dog.
For some reason I always trust Ghanaians to produce the goods. But with Lartey, this is the second consecutive disappointment after wasting money on him vs Gorman weeks ago. It's now clear that he's not going anywhere.
Having said that, this time I was more unconvinced by Wardley than really backing the underdog. This reminds me of my belief in Razor Ruddock winning against Lennox Lewis back in the days of yore...
I didn't bet on Formella luckily, but I myself had mentally picked him to defeat Benn.
All in all, 2020 has been a shìtty year for me as far as betting is concerned.
Looks like Yeleussenov vs Indongo got added to the Jacobs vs Rosado card. I shouldn't imagine there'll be too many objections to that one going in and if there are... tough.:lol1:
Indongo ain't a big challenge for a top fighter, but he's hellishly awkward for those who ain't, should see whether Daniyar got what it takes here.
Where do we post up our predictions? ........Rockin':boxing:
I didn't put a Pick Em thread up this week I'm afraid, cos there didn't seem to be a huge amount of interest but I think we got at least a coupla fights each weekend for the rest of the year now, starting with Yoka vs Hammer next Friday... I reckon about another 12 fights left in all concluding with the Japanese new Years eve card on the 31st from Tokyo.
Does anyone here think, like yours truly, that Richard Lartey might knock Fabio Wardley out?
Only time I saw Wardley was against Valily, and yeah he looked a bit vulnerable at times, so it's not out of the question for sure. Big scrapper like Lartey might expose that lack of experience perhaps.:dunno:
Last call out for anyone who might want Pick Ems on this weekend, otherwise we'll skip until the triple next week with Jacobs Rosado etc..

Sniper is trying to get junk fights on there because he has crazy accuracy and can pick those easy.
:lol1: Shamelessly. Still, if you don't ask you don't get.
I'm thinking run this thread another day before making a call on this week... there does seem to be a little interest in Formella vs Benn but unless we get a couple more names on it I reckon we'll pass until the triple the following week.
Just gonna post over SN!PERs posts from the masterthread so we got it all in one place...

Optional fights I like...
This week:
11/19 - William Zepeda vs. Roberto Ramirez
11/21 - Yves Ulyesse vs. Mathieu Germain
11/21 - Conor Benn vs. Sebastian Formella
Next week:
11/27 - Demetrius Andrade vs. Dusty Harrison
11/28 - Badou Jack vs. Blake McKernan
It's been a weird year and we've seen a few cherry picks gone wrong. Sometimes the undefeated prospect comes like a hungry lion and snatches victory away from the champ... or at the very least, drags him into a war and earns a lot of respect in defeat. So... we can dream... after all, anything is possible in the sport of boxing. :)
December looks jam-packed, and with the holidays coming up I might miss a few fights. Junior Fa holds a prized amateur victory over Parker, so this one could be fireworks! The Fundora kid is really fun to watch, and this is his first 12-rounder, so...
12/5 Sebastian Fundora vs Jorges Cota
12/12 Joe Parker vs Junior Fa
And Shoulder Roll's:
I like Joseph Parker vs Junior Fa. And maybe Billy Joe Saunders vs Martin Murray.
Bakole-Kuzmin
Verdejo-Nakatani
Damn, how t.f was Bakole Kuzmin not on the list already? Musta been added to Boxrec since yesterday.
I think most would agree that one wants to be in. Hughie vs Wach might be worthy of consideration too FWIW though I ain't all that excited about that one personally.
