Hi. I wanna know if boxing is really capable of manning
someone up.
I've been avoiding fights for 13 years before that I always get doubled, tripled, or even quadrupled in most of my street fights. my last fight left me scared to get in anymore fights.
Is boxing the key to restore my confidence?
I don't want to be scared anymore. Not that I intend to hurt anyone, but I want to regain a sense of control over my life.
And btw I'm going to America to study at university and luckily there is a real famous boxing gym a couple of blocks away from me so it's a win win for me I will start studying and train for about 4-5 years. Is that enough time to toughen up and get the grip with boxing? thanks
please guys if you had stories about you before and after boxing, I would love to hear them. So everyone can see how boxing works.
sure it can, ask gerald McClellan
you should avoid street fight's at all cost's & boxing training is great for your health, it's no harm to be able to throw a few decent punches but always remember if u are trained and u hit someone and they get hurt u can go to jail too!
your health is your wealth and the world is full of idiots, drunks and druggies many looking for a fight & there is always someone out there who will kick your ass, if u run into one of those guy's and decide to throw some fist's u could end up in very big trouble!

Street fights are pretty easy to avoid if you leave people alone and mind your own business. If you find it impossible to avoid street fights then learning boxing or some other martial art will help you win some street fights. So will carrying a gun or a knife. You don't need 5 years. A good boxing teacher can show you a lot in a few hours. I know because I took lessons from a pro boxer and learned a lot very quickly. Most successful boxers went into boxing because they were beating everyone in street fights not because they were getting beat up in street fights. Some guys are just naturally good fighters and some are not.
It is best to never been involved in fights outside of a ring 'It is a insult to you, as a man if? Anybody wants to start a fight with you.
There are not many animals in nature, that will go out of there way one on one to start a fight with a Lion.
The only type's of people who get into fights on the streets as adults are lowly people 'I had all my fights in school and high-school days' That is what in part school days are about, you are being tested in many ways.
I would say boxing will make you understand violence more, and actually respect violence. It may also have transferable benefits to other area's in your life 'That go beyond just street fighting'.
I did karate and boxing as a kid, those where my two combat sports 'Karate as a real youngster, and then boxing as a older kid' But my main sport was not a combat sport.
I think boxing would be a huge help in toughening you up and restoring your confidence. But boxing is just a tool to bring that out of you. Ultimately it's up to you, and you will have to face and overcome your fears and insecurities in the boxing gym. Good luck!

That's easy to answer. It is a DEFINITE YES.....YES. Learn how to box, keep your head, watch out for kicks, and you'll know things the other guys won't.
Kids in another school beside ours used to beetle over at 3 o'clock just to catch us and beat us up. Our kids weren't fighters. I was aggressive and would fight them. Then I went to our local boxing club, became club, and league champion, so would more or less convoy some of our kids home. Got stopped only once, by 6-7 kids. We agreed that I fight them one at a time. They kept faith until the 4th one. Someone behind me threw a brick at my head and it missed. But it caught my opponent on the face, and smashed his nose, knocked him down. Bleeding like hell.. We brought him to the home of the last kid I was accompanying, and his older sister patched him up somehow. It didn't look pretty, but served him right.
So go and do it....!Six months , and you'll feel like a different guy. that is..if you take to it.!
A straight left with some oomph behind it, and well aimed has a very deterring effect....If you learn to throw a right cross after it, it triples the "pleasure...??
Go to boxing and learn how to fight and you will be fine, when you know you can do something you are automatically confident, its not about finding a bully its about finding the man boxing can do this.
