Were you impressed with Usyk?

Usyk and Devin Haney both had a chance to shine but they didn't.

I changed my mind. he struggled, but nearly everybody struggles with Chisora. Usyk can compete there.

Both fighters looked pathetic to me. Usyk is better than that, but only at cruiser. Not good enough at heavy, and I'm a fan.

Not really impressed, he has class but I dont see anything special, but if any HW cant catch him clean Usyk could steal a win from any, he could steal it from AJ and Fury where a Joe Frazier eats him up.

Usyk is too small for HW. A fine boxer technically, but there is a reason why weight classes exist. That said, Chisora's pressure style generally seems to be a problem for Ex-Soviet style boxers. I have never seen Vitali Klitschko looking as relieved as at the end of his Chisora bout (yes yes I know Vitali was supposedly injured too) - he didn't like Chisora's pressure either, and he was clearly a bigger man than Usyk.

Very true but same applies to anybody at HW facing a puncher. For sure, but Usyk looks a little frail compared to former cruisers who shifted to HW. Of course he needs more fights to really see what he can accomplish.

Too basic Usyk has that ammy style. Throws a lot of punches, good foot speed... But it is all off a straight line. He has no angles. He would get creamed moving back against any heavyweight with foot speed.

Naw not impressed. He is like brain damage waiting to happen if he continues to fight at HW. Imagine Helenius lands some power punches. He takes him a head off.

Name the hw that doesn`t hit harder than Chisora. Briedis, Gassiev, Nistor who stopped Joshua with headgear, Medzhidov, Joyce can all crack. Anybody can potentially get knocked out but Usyk has proven his chin so posts about "lulz he would get sparked, HW's big don't you know!" aren't contributing much.

Nope, boring fight with lots of running on Usyk part. Usyk is undersized at HW, he'll have to use the Evan Fields formula to be effecitve at HW.

Pretty much what I expected from Usyk so I wasn't impressed or disappointed. If I were his team I'd get him a CW that moved up to HW for his next fight. But then again. I'd still view Hunter and Gassiev as risky fights for him at HW. IMO Usyk's in a tough spot if he wants his next opponent to be a Credible HW
