Chocolatito, Rungvisai, Estrada, Cuadras: this era's Fab Four???

For sure they are. Cuadras clearly a cut below the other three in terms of accomplishments but I think we'll see a rematch with SSR. These little guys have other great triangles going on also: Nietes has beaten Ioka. Ioka barely lost to Ruenroeng who 'beat' Casimero and then got stopped by him. SSR recently edged Ruenroeng. Ioka beat Yaegashi in a unification, Yaegashi stopped SSR (very early in SSR's career). Yaegashi also lost to Choco and Mthlane. Mthlane also beat Casimero and Tete. Casimero stopped Tete. The smaller divisions never fail to deliver! I think Donaire would have been the King from 115-118 had he moved back down after losing to Rigo. Donaire beat only Mthlane out of all the names listed. Had he stuck around I don't think I'd choose any name here to beat him. Prime Nonito beats Inoue also. If he beats Oubaali and can make 115 (like he claims) to win a title, he's without a doubt an ATG.

Hell yes. Best perfect foursome since the 80s. 9 fights. 7 were badass. Four or five were FOTY contenders so far (including tonight). One of the more memorable KOs in recent vintage in Choc-Sor II. And the only 'bad' fight was still pretty good; just had a cut stop when it was heating up. And there will be at least 2-3 more from this crew. Every fight fan owes a tip of the cap to these four. What's crazy is that Rungvisai is the mandatory to the winner of Estrada-Gonzalez II. If El Gallo goes 3-0 against Cuadras, Chocolatito and Rungvisai back to back that would be a hell of an accomplishment. A big if. All great fights for sure.

Not at all the case. Ioka won the sub-WBA at 108 while Roman was there right around the same time as Choc-Gallo. Held the WBA sub at 112 while Estrada was unified at the weight. Not saying either ducked. I think Ioka and Nietes would have got in there. Their management was less interested. Their accomplishments at lower weights are solid but the foursome at 115 has had eight of their nine at that weight. Ioka and Nietes haven't played a part. Still love to see Choc versus either (both) before he's done since they caught belts in the same classes as him in his tailwind. All that said, speaks to the remarkable depth of this sub-bantam decade and change. Best little man era since the 70s at least. Nah Ioka didn’t win the WBA 108 title until Dec 2012. At that point Gonzalez had already had his last fight at 108 and had announced his intentions to move to 112. By the time Ioka won a belt at 112, Estrada was inactive due to hand injuries. Hello To The NO, he actually ducked a Prime Choco and Ran Away from the Shark Infested 115 you're completely misinformed i've been repeating myself forever but it's been well documented in the japanese press that... while at superfly, inoue was calling out chocolatito numerous times, but chocolatito did everything he could to avoid that fight inoue even went to vegas to sit ringside for chocolatito... inoue said if he couldn't fight the #1 guy, he wasn't going to wait around, and then went up to 118. in addition to the monster, i also think donaire, casimero would KO those 4 guys.

absolutely, nietes is a wizard, i think he beats all those guys in his prime.. is he retired? same with ioka. ioka's style makes a tough fight for estrada. estrada throws a lot of punches, but ioka is more accurate and precise. would love to see that. cuadras, maybe a few years ago, but he's inconsistentm a rank below all of them.
