Depends if Mikey see's something.
Lmao
Lol...I'm still waiting to see what he saw in the Spence fight...
Unfortunately we never got the chance to see what he saw in Loma!
Damn good point!!!...I think you convinced me with your point of view!!!...Didn't look at it that way...I'll never forget what Mikey did to Big Boy!!!...

It's not rare for him to fight bigger guys. Rumor was he gave maidana the business before the first mayweather fight in training. I believe they said they had to stop training for a week cause he hurt maidanas ribs
That's crazy considering most videos I see him in he has freaking pillows for gloves
Thank you Donnie. Mikey is tough and very crafty. Spence is just massive at 147. MIkey should have opened up more but people need to quit doggging him about that.
No problem...yeah Mikey has a lot of tools in his shed...I think he took the Spence fight for big money...he's only at 147 for big money fights!!!..His best weight is 140 but I think he got bored with that division and honestly he can beat everyone at 140 right now!!!...
Thanks and I think about Mikey's fight against Adrien Broner when I imagine him against Teo. I know it's not a perfect comparison but AB is another explosive guy who shells up looking for counters.
I thought Broner's athleticism would be too much but Mikey was busier with accurate punches. Could he do the same against Teo? I'm not sure but I would love to find out
I think of Easter even though he’s not as good as Broner I think he was actually able to control distance but eventually got found out and it wasn’t good after that
Mikey is the more proven fighter and has been in with solid competition. He also has a lot of power for his size and I believe his fundamentals might be a little too sharp for Teofimo at this point in his career.
I think Teo has more competitive spirit than Broner so he would definitely let his hands go instead of getting hit and nodding his head over and over.
As for Mikey, he should compete at 140 because 147 isn't gonna work unless he is matched correctly. He still has decent power at welterweight but his lack of size makes things difficult.
Good analysis. I think 140 is Mikeys best weight. I would say Mikey is the favorite if this fight was made at 140. Teo wouldn not have a size adavantage either.
It's a solid comparison...the difference would be if Teo let his hands go would Mikey be able to take his power or would he fight in survival mode from being touched up like he did against Errol???...Those are the questions...I have...and I would say that Lopez would need to raise his profile but he just beat arguably the number 1 p4p in boxing and got all the belts!!!...:dunno:

Garcia beats Teo. Garcia took the punches of Spemce okay. Spence is way bigger than Teo. Teo is essentially a jr welter. Spence is a huge welter even a junior middle weight melting down.

Yeah...nice analysis...they both have great jabs...that's what made me compare them...I think Teo has more to show us and Mikey has shown us all he has...Spence showed the blueprint to beat Mikey and I think Teo can follow it successfully but I'm not so sure because Mikey arguably has the best 1-2 aside from Pacquiao...Mikey is a beast and undefeated outside of 147...at 140 is the perfect weight as of now for them to make the fight cause we know Mikey is not getting back down to 135...and Teo is too big and draining to make 135...so 140 would be best for both...

Mikey needs to go back down to 140 but he's chasing Pacquiao money...
Yes, and the likelihood of Mikey being involved in a Top Rank super fight is probably really low right now. But it would be a very good fight in my opinion.
